I have the dreaded stomach flap (pannus) after 4 pregnancies.

I've noticed that just before my period, I get a rash under one side of my pannus.

A dose or 2 or bepanthen, or 3B seems to get rid of it, but it's odd that it happens just before my period.

Has anyone else experienced this? The 4 doctors I've seen in an attempt to solve this little mystery have never come across it, and normally prescribe hydrocortisone cream for the problem, but it's so bizarre.

Can't help you with the before your period questions.

But mine clears up easily with a sprinkle of Curash baby powder.  It works faster than any other product I've used!

I have it too and also on one side of my groin. I think it must be that you get a rise in temp just before your period. That's the only explanation I can think of.
I think there are many things that are hormonal thta can't be explained. I used to have terrible hayfever but when I have a Mirena inserted I don't have any trouble. As the Mirena comes to the end of its life the hayfever comes back. New mirena-no hayfever. My doctor just laughed when I told her but I believe my hormones played a part in my hayfever response.

Could it be caused by yeast? I get thrush most times before my period so maybe something like that?
