Hi - just wondering if anyone can help me, I had a nasty fall today and have chipped a bone in my foot. The dr wanted me to have it plastered for 5 weeks but we are going away on our family holiday on Friday so I asked if I could strap it and rest and see to it when we get back as I want to try to have a swim with the kids etc. I can hobble on it. I know it prob sounds strange, I am a larger girl and the thought of using crutches for 5 weeks makes me feel ill. I have 2 kids and a very hectic lifestyle and work a Sat which I love in a cafe. I was wondring if anyone would know if I could get one of those boots or something fitted to the cast to enable me to walk or at least use the crutches to assist me rather than having to hop on the crutches?
