As we have many members who run or are in the process of starting their own business it is important to note that we have very strict rules about business discussion on EB.
- You may not offer your services, even for free. This includes port folio building, free shoots for the sake of promotions or skills development or any other offer that is aimed at developing or furthering your business. This is considered advertising, even if you have not yet registered a business name.
- You may not advertise your business in your signature, use your business name as your username or link to a work related blog.
- If someone comes online asking for a photographer and you wish to offer your services, please keep this off the main forum.
- EB has in place a new allowance for members who have paid advertising in the business directory. If you are listed in the EB directory then you may link to your directory information in your signature. Please see the EB guidelines for more information on this.
