Hi I've recently moved from Queensland.  In the Queensland section there is a pinned thread for things to do in and around Brisbane for children.  I was wondering if we could set up something similar in this section?

Thanks Wendy thats a fantastic list.  I wish I'd looked 10 days ago when we arrived in Adelaide.  We're moving here in early 2009, my husband has already started work, and I've bought the kids over from ACT for the hols and to have a look around.  While we've done a few of those things, I've been a bit stuck for things to do this last few days so will pick something off your great list - thanks.

St Kilda Adventure Playground. Bring hessian sacks for use on slides. Not so good on really hot days as the slids are metal. It has an amazing pirate ship, and a flying fox. Oh, and it's free!
