I have had the Implanon Implant since end of Novemeber I have very light af every month but I used to be able to feel the implant in my arm and was about 4cms long and now it feels like it is broken I can only feel about 1 cm and can't feel anything else. The little peice can be moved around too...
Can this happen and does anyone know does it affect it...????
I want to go to the doctors but can't get into them until Wednesday next week....

I have heard if it hasn't been inserted properly, it can move. I would be using another form of contraceptive until Wednesday just to be on the safe side. Best of luck.

I seriously doubt it could break unless you've had a massive blow to the arm
More than likely it's just shifted and one end it deeper into the muscle...
get it checked out though- a doc trained in implanon will be able to feel what is going on straight away.

Yes it can break! (I am a sexual health nurse) I had a client that this happened to (but she was playing with it alot) after lots of calls around to "expert drs" I was told that it is still fine and still effective, no need to replace, it will just be a little more difficult to remove.
