After 2 years of TTC, endo, PCOS, Clomid, IUI's, we did first round IVF in June.
We transferred two Day 3 Grade 1 eight cell embies and got BFP.
6w2d scan showed 2 good size sacs and 2 heartbeats. Am now 7w and everything is crossed they both stick.
Like previous poster said, feels like we've won lottery.

all great outcomes for us!

ICSI #1 - tx 2x day 5 blasts = BFP m/c @ 6w (probably only a singleton as normal HCG and low P4)
ICSI #2 - tx 2x day 5 blasts = BFP 7w scan showed one healthy little bub!

We transferred 2 embryos and pregnant with one bub (induced tonight!)

We transferred 2 embies and found out today at the 7 week scan that we have one bubba one board.
My question is... what would have happened if they only put one back in - would they have put the 'right' one back? Just a thought???

An update - OMG! I had my 12 week scan this morning and guess what - I am having twins! It came as a shock to us as there seem to be only one bubba in there at the 7 week scan. The lady doing the scan said casually 'so you already knew you were having twins?' I said no - there was only one bubba in there at 7 weeks and then just started laughing and couldn't stop. We had 2 embroys transfered so although it was still a shock it was a result that we had already considered carefully a few months back.

We have had 2 fresh IVF cycles, both with good quality embryos each time. 1st cycle we had a total of 4 good embryos to transfer, 2nd cycle we only ended up with 2 good embryos to transfer.
All were 2-3 day transfers.
IVF #1 - 1 x tx - BFN
FET - 1 x tx - BFP m/c @ 6 weeks
FET - 2 x tx - BFP m/c @ 5 weeks - probably singleton as HCG was not high
IVF #2 - 2 x tx - BFP Twins!

10 transfers, of which 9 were 2 embies. 1st BFP was vanishing twin then missed m/c at 11 weeks. 2nd BFP ended in gorgeous Georgia

14 transfers, all but two transfers we transferred two. All m/c were one baby and successful pregnancy was one baby from transferring two.

IVF #1 = DS born Aug 2010 (Day 3 fresh transfer x 2)
IVF #2 = Identical Twin girls (MCDA) due July 2012(so yes one egg split, no ICSI, no assisted hatching) (Day 5 fresh blasts x 2 transfered)
Have always transfered 2 embies happy with the decision.

Didn't see this before.
Years ago we did 3 embryo transfers . Didn't think there was a real risk of having triplets or twins really. Had our gorgeous DD#1.
Then we tried for a long time for #2 with numerous frozen and fresh cycles. Usually 3 embryo's each time unless there wasn't 3 left. Nothing until one day our Dr said he wanted to do 2 embryo's or even 1 now. We decided on 2 again not really thinking of the risk afterall we had done 3x embryo's so many times with negative results except for DD#1. We got our twin DD's that cycle.
