Just curious to know at what age your toddler mastered a 'shape-sorter' (you know, one of those red and blue things that are made by Tupperware?). DD has just got the hang of it and can now put all of the shapes into the correct spot without any prompting and I was wondering if this is some sort of developmental step relating to mathematics? She seems to be spot-on average for most developmental milestones (e.g. with talking, building blocks etc) so I'm curious to know if this is also something that most 18-month olds can do, or have others mastered it a little earlier?
