I have been looking through EB for about a week now and this list has helped a lot, one thing I didn't find explained was PM which is on the bottom of each post. Can anyone help me?
Posted 16 October 2006 - 11:09 AM
PM stands for Private Message. Meaning a message sent through the EB site to the person you wish to send it to.
The buttom underneath each post is what you click on to send the pm.
Feel free to send one to me if you want to practice and I will send you one to show how they come through.
To look at any you receive you click on messenger over on he left and it will show 1 message (or however many) underneath it). You can also set it up so that any messages pop up on the screen if you are here. As a moderator I do this so I don't need to keep checking the Messenger box.
Hope you are enjoying exploring and feel free to contact me (by PM LOL) if you need any further help.

Hope that helps.
PS I have also updated the list. Thanks for letting us know ladies.

Ok I have one that I can't find anywhere. What is PTTK???
Posted 09 December 2006 - 09:42 PM
PTTK is the name of a buddy group here on Essential Baby.
It stands for Part Time Thread Killer, it started as a game to see how long a thread could get before a moderator locked it to open a new one (the person who was last to put a post in before the thread was locked was the thread killer for that thread) but like I said now it is a buddy group.
Hope that helps.
