Not good news from me guys, another BFN here.

Ratty - I hope you get good news on Monday.  I really feel for you having to get through this weekend waiting.

Well, I made an appt to see my doc (he is busy until mid-July unfortunately) so we'll see him then and work out when to do another fresh cycle.  I want to start NOW, but have to wait until he gets back unfortunately.

Good luck to those testing soon.  Surely someone will get a BFP???

Hi girls,

Alison - Sorry to hear about the BFN.  I hope you are ok.

Ratty - Great news that your beta was positive.  I hope that that number is nice and high by Monday.  Is there any chance you can test again sooner?

belleshel - Congratulations on those great looking embies and welcome to the 2ww!

Alison, I'm so sorry to hear of your BFN.  I hope you feel better soon and your dr can dive you some reassuring news next month.

Ratty - Hoping your beta rises nicely by Monday.  I'm testing on Sunday and am having trouble coping with the next few days, if I had to wait a few more days on top of that....Oh I feel for you.  BTW did you do any HPTs at all?

I'll be back later with some more personals.

<font color="4f454f">Alison, bummer. I'm really sorry about the bfn.  My FS appt is late July too so... and I'm pretty sure it's going to be to discuss the next cycle, rather than being my 6wk appt. I feel for you, having to wait so long when you're ready NOW.

Ratty - promising news for you. I'm with M&C, I am dying here already and still have days to go before my first test.  That you have to wait around this long again after knowing you have at least a hopeful level..... too cruel matey, too cruel. I'd consider seriously what the others are saying in your thread in AC - ask for a w/end test?? Surely it's worth a shot? Then again, hcg doubles every 2.2 days apparently. So you'd realistically be thinking of a Sunday test... and it's only a day off Monday....

Thinking of you both.

any opinions or advice would be much appreciated.

hang in there you 2wwers, its a good job we all have each other on here so we can go mental together!

Alison - big hugs. I wish I could do more. Thinking of you.

Ratty - oooooooooohhhhhhhhhh I hope your next BT is fantastic! I'm quiety confident and will keep my fingers crossed.

Sarah - I'm sorry to hear that you have to keep stimming for so long. (I had HAD it by day 9 when they told me to trigger!) I don't know about the impact on egg quality - but I can only assume they taking that into consideration and think this is the best way forward. Might be worth getting some reassurance from them on that though? All the best.

To everyone else, fingers crossed.

I'm sitting here going crazy as I know I still have a couple of days to go before I test but I really don't want to wait now. I've been looking up HPT's on the net and can't decide which one to buy. I know DH won't want me to test but he also doesn't like messing with a hormonal wife. Do you think it's too early?

Cheers,
Helen.

Helen - I say test.  My first cycle I didn't and it was a BFN anyway.  This cycle I have and got a faint +tive.  It was one of those ultra sensitive ones though.  So I say if you get a +tive it will put you out of your misery just a little bit, if it's a -tive you can start preparing yourself slowly for bad news.  Anyway that's my view.

Tracy - I really hope your little one makes it to blast.  Have my fingers crossed for you.

Tintin - Hope you see some good sized follies tomorrow.

Sarah - not sure about egg quality.  I stimmed for 11 days, but that's because of OHSS.  I hope all goes well for you.

To those I've missed, hope everything is right on track for you.

Hi Girls,
Hope you don't mind if I join in too.

I managed 2 follies after 14 days of stimming at 450 iu Gonal-f. I had my EPU last Mon. GYN got 1 egg so I was very happy in view of my past performance.

Even better it fertilised !!!

Transfer was on Wed 15/6 so I'm at the start of the 2WW.

Sounds wierd but I'm happy to be finally here.

*pg mentioned*
Helen - the morning of my BFP with DD, I did a HPT which was -ve.  I also thinkg the HPTs play with your head, and aren't really that conclusive, the BT is the best diagnosis.

#74 stejen

Posted 17 June 2005 - 01:26 PM

so do you think the -tive HPT, can sometimes be positive when you do the BT?

just popped in to say to Tracy - fantastic news on fertilisation!!!well done that egg.

ratty - it will be a long weekend but keep positive xx

kirril - I posted to you in the other thread but once again, look after yourself and I am thinking of you.
helen - don't do it!!all the best tomorrow.
katem - congrats on getting to 2ww.
m&c - good luck with the BT on Sunday
sheree - did i read you got 8 follies? that sounds good.

love to you all girls, I'll let you know tomorrow after my scan if my cycle gets cancelled which quite frankly I'm expecting. Oh well, I'll hopefully make it to EPU next time. My specialist called me back eventually and said its 50/50 and she is disapointed with my e2 levels at 3000 so expect to try again after next AF.
