I've been out of the loop really since the beginning of this cycle. I'm so sorry to read of all the BFN's. What a month.

My grandad, who I'm really close to, was admitted to hospital two days before my E/PU. I had my E/PU on the 6/6, which coincidentally was his birthday. We got 11 lovely little eggs, 9 of which have fertilised and 6 of which were good enough to freeze. We were thrilled. We had our E/T on Thursday 9/6. We transferred two gorgeous little 3 day embies this time, having done blasts on previous occasions we decided a change might be a good thing - but who knows in this game!!!  On that same Thursday night, my Da passed away. This has been two of the most emotional weeks of my life.

We have our preg test on Sunday. I'm hoping he's up there pulling some strings.

Mel and Kat so sorry about your news. this is a sorry month
isnt it? Hope you are both Ok.

Hope the other 2 week waiters are coping and will have
some great news soon to turn this thread around.

ME - Just had EPU today and only ONE EGG!!!  Well I think I
take the cake here for lowest number of eggs. (can you bake
a cake with one egg?). Had only two mature follicles and the
biggest one (20mm+) yielded nothing at all. So now we just
have to wait and see if the one I got fertilises and take it from
there. At least the EPU was a breeze and I am feeling fine
now. Will let you know if my egg fertilises tomorrow...

Oh Tracy.  Gosh you must feel like the wind has been knocked out of your sails a bit.  I'm not going to say it only takes one wink.gif Crossing everything that this one passes muster at every stop.

Simi, you poor poor girl!  What a shocker.  GL for Sunday, I'm absolutely sure your dear Da will be looking out for you as best he can.

Ratty!! Good luck for tomorrow mate!  Omg, you'd better get your ticket out of here or I'll be so bummed for you.

Oh Simi I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm praying that he has definitely pulled some strings for you upstairs and that you get a bfp this time. (((hugs)))

I lost my wonderful Dad just a few months after I finally got a bfp in 2003. I was just five months pg at the time. I remember his tears of happiness when I first told him that we were finally expecting. I also remember his extreme sadness when he told us just a couple of weeks before he died that he didn't think he'd be able to hang on 'til our baby was born. He was suffering from bone cancer and it took him on New Year's Eve. A happier side to this is that I believe that he knew he was going so he gave all his last strength to our bub so that DS would live. There are definite looks there that I swear are Dad's ... we've even got one on film.

Wishing you all the very best for a BFP.

Hi girls,

I'm really sorry to see all these BFN's. What a month June is turning into.

Well I had my two frosties thawed and transferred today. I was thrilled that they both survived, one of the blasts looked great, the other one a little untidy to be honest (don't take offence sweetie, I'm sure you are a lovely little thing in your own way). The scientist was happy enough with both of them. So it went smoothly and I went straight back to work. Had a joke with the nurse about 'what did you do in your lunchbreak? (casually) Oh, I got pregnant' LOL! I said to her if only it was as much fun as it sounds.

So I am now in the 11 day wait, beta on Sunday 26/6. No doubt I will be HPTing before that, I'm not even going to pretend that I'll try not to.

Go ratty go...go ratty go....go ratty go...

Mel & Kat - so sorry to hear of your news.  Take care of yourselves.

Ratty - only 1 sleep to go (as if you're going to sleep!).  I've got everything crossed for you.

My beta is also tomorrow.  I am expecting a negative as the tally is so far 5-0 in favour of the -ve HPTs.

Tracy - I've got everything crossed for your little egg.  I hope you get good news tomorrow.

M&C - how exciting....maybe the line only came up late because your hcg level is still really low.  I really hope this is it for you.

Simi - so sorry to hear of your loss.  I hope your Granddad is definitely pulling some strings for you.

Lifesgood - glad the transfer went well.

I'll report back when I have my results tomorrow.  My prediction is that AF will arrive on the way home from the blood test.  I'll let you know tomorrow if I was right.

just quickly checking in..

Tracy - I will be praying hard for your little egg. It was me opposite you, you guessed right! I'll email you later as we have ended up in the same boat. all the best lovey I hope you get good news today.

ratty - deep breaths, hope its good news

me - well I think I will be cancelled or at best I have 2 maybe 3 follies that will make it. Scan this morning showed little growth on the others, if any. I'll find out when I get that call later from the nurse and I'll be calling Alison Gee to find out what she think the plan should be. I've kind of accepted this one wont happen and I'll be fine.

love to you all,
sarah xx

Yay Ratty and Alison! They have blood..... we're all in suspense in here!

Sarah - Ugh.... how exhausting for you. I am finding it difficult to concentrate on "what if" and the fact that I will most likely have to go another round (at least) before we get one normal emby to stick.  So I can't imagine how it must feel to be stopped at the first gate.  I'm really feeling for you, just wish I could do something to help!  (but, erm, I can't even help myself...)
