Larissa and Capricorn: I'm on day 3 of Lucrin and I've had a constant headache and have been feeling tired and lethargic. So It think it's the Lucrin doing it.

Hey Jen, I'm an IVF beginner too! I hope we both have a short stay on AC. Fingers crossed for you.

Just a quicky from me as DH is waiting for me on the couch and rather annoyed that I've been on EB for an hour and haven't given him any attention. Just like a baby really!

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

hi girls!!

I'm currently in a bit of shock!! I had my 1st U/S today after only a week on Gonal F an when i called up for test results today i have 19 follies and they want to pick them up on monday!!!!!!
The nurse said that the 8 on the left are still quite small and they don't expect much from them but that means there are 11 on the right and they are mature!! I have to go to the clinic in the morning and find out more but YAY!! I'm so excited. That means T/fer will be the end of the week-just b4 my 6th wedding anniversary on Sunday 26th!

just wanted to ask-does the 2WW start from when they take the eggs out or when they T/fer them back in??

Hi girls,

Thought I better catch up..alot seems to be happening already!!

3bubs- My DH can't believe how much time I spend on EB! I think he is secretly relieved that I have this outlet though. I'm a bit of a talker..like to verbalise my thoughts, worries etc! Hope you're feeling OK.

Suzi- Hope the sniffing is going OK!

Michelle- Hope there are lots of nice follies in your scan next week. Don't you hate those little worrying questions that pop into your head?

Kylie- Good luck with your scan on Monday. Hope you didn't mind hearing my thoughts on 1 vs 2? I'm starting to wonder why my RE suggested we tf 1 on our last fresh cycle..it was a 2day tf. I don't get it? Some clinics wouldn't do that and is it right that some clinics always do blasts?? Hmmm. I think I'll definitely talk to my RE about this if we get another BFN.

Jen- Hope you're doing OK with the snotty nose thing!!

Tina- How did you go with your scan today?

White2sugars- Hope everything is going OK.

Sheree- How does 8 follies compare to your other cycles? When is EPU?

Capricorn70- Hope everything is going well. It's probably a good thing to be busy and not thinking about stuff too much. The 2WW is hard enough!!!

Larissa- Not long till EPU for you either! I find acupuncture really relaxing too.

Hi to everyone else.
I have a BT next Thursday and then start OPK's. Hoping that ovulate sooner rather than later...also hoping that my little frosties survive the thaw!
Friday night...I'm off to watch a DVD (my usual routine!)

Edited to say: Tintin (we posted at the same time)! Great news! You must be feeling really excited!! The 2WW starts from the date of tf. Good luck

Tina, 11 follies! That's terrific.  You must be so excited. Good luck with EPU.

Sheree, I'm a PGDer as well, so a good number of high quality embies is so important.  I hope your follies contain good quality eggs. Good luck with EPU and I hope it all goes smoothly for you next week.  How are you feeling about it?

By the way, did anyone get AF cramp like pains on Lucrin/syranel? I stop OCP today and I'm 4 days on Lucrin. But have period pain???

Hi all - how busy has this thread become now?

Alicia - I would be asking why they are only transferring 1 embryo if you are doing a 2dt.  I'm not sure how old you are but maybe that has something to do with it.  I'm 35 now and apparently in that grey area before egg quality starts to deteriorate.

Tina - how exciting for you.  11 mature follies is a great number.  The 2ww starts from the date of transfer but I think depends on whether you do 2 or 5dt.  I know mine is only around 11 days and we are doing 5dt.

3bubs - lucrin/synarel does weird things to the system and I can vaguely remember through the exhaustion that I did have AF type cramps.

Michelle - bloating at the moment is horrendous, can't get my favourite jeans done up properly! I have upped the water intake to around 3l a day so hopefully that will help.  I've got 5 days till pickup so it will have to help surely.

Sheree - 8 follies is that normal for you?

I think its natural to worry about whether everything is working or not.  I've been worried since going on the BCP...LOL.

Everyone else have a great weekend.  I'm just lazing around, drinking water and watching TV before I go down to my dads for the US on Mon.

hi girls,

I just had my injection of pregnyl. I have been so nervous that i'd stuff it up, but what do you know-i did it. I have been worrying all day about it and now it's done it's a huge relief. I kind of stung a bit, but generally no worse than the gonal F even though it looks like a bigger needle.
I am sooo over the injections and the synarel. I get to sleep in tomorrow without having to set my alarm clock for synarel. I think this will be the first time in about 4 weeks.
My EPU is at 9.30 on monday morning. If all goes well, my ET is on Friday-only a 4 day t/fer.

Well it's off to bed for me. Hope everyone is having a good weekend! original.gif original.gif original.gif

Thanks for the reassurance Kylie.  Geez, don't we worry, the symptoms have now disappeared. Weird!

Tina, are you the first one to EPU on this thread? I think so.  Best of luck for Monday.

WOW Girls ~ It is getting so exciting for everyone.

Suzi:  How's the Synarel going?  Still having trouble?
Not long until Tuesday now.

3Bubs:  I'm a virgin IVF'er too!!! LOL  Hope the headaches, tiredness and lethargy have completely gone.  I had a couple of side effects for the first few days of taking the Lucrin and then they disappeared.  Wish the tiredness would. sad.gif  I started taking the Lucrin before AF, so I did get my AF pain, I was taking the Lucrin for 9 days before my AF arrived, that night I started the Gonal-F.

Tina:  That is so exciting!!!!!  11 mature follies and EPU Monday.  It sounds like at the rate you produce follies, the immature ones might have grown some by Monday too?  Can't wait to hear how many eggs they collect from you - All the best for Monday!!!!

Alicia:  Fingers crossed for those frosties - hope all survive.  Good luck with the BT on Thursday too.  We just watched the Terminal on Austar and it was really good.

Kylie:  Surely the 3L of water each day should be helping somewhat.  I hope so anyway.  Good luck with the scan on Monday.  Not long to go until Thursday.  It's all a game of waiting.

Well I'm feeling pretty good actually.  Still tired but that's not much really.  Looking forward to next week.

Catch you all later >>>>>> Michelle

Michelle, you read my mind.  I was going to ask how long after taking Lucrin did people's AF arrive. Today is my 5th day on Lucrin! How sadistic, I actually look forward to the injections ;p

Hey 3Bubs + I'm sadistic too then.  I seem to spend my day waiting for 7:30 pm to come around so that next shot is done. LOL original.gif
