Chook, sorry to hear that AF turned up - horrible witch !!!

Peta, great news that your levels are finally dropping, let's hope by next week they are really really low.  I don't think you would have to worry about an ectopic now that they have started dropping, I would think it would only be if they were still increasing that you would be at risk.

Have a great day everyonel.

Thought I would join in - hope you don't mind. I had my first IUI last Monday 16 May - so am now just in the 2ww. I'll be having a blood test next Wednesday - so one week to go. I was also just wondering - if I had my last pregnyl injection last Saturday - how long does it take for this to be out of my system. I am not sure if I can last until next Wednesday - and am positive that I will succumb to a HPT.

Hey Adell...  It all depends on how big a dose they gave you of the Pregnyl, do you know what it was ???

Hi Girls,

I have not had a chance to pop in for a few days, but I hope you are all great!

Donna, thanks for the update, there are so many of us!!  How long have you been injecting for this cycle now?  Have you had any scans or BT's to see where you are at?

I had a scan yesterday CD10 (3-4 follies on one side, one dominant at 13mm, very small on other side).  DH is away until Sunday, so I am hoping that things go to plan and I can trigger Sat night and have IUI on Monday.  Last cycle I did not O until CD20, so hopefully they will grow a little on the slow side again EEK!! The f/s dropped the puregon back from 100U to 75U/day, and thinks that everything should work out (fingers crossed).  I have a BT tomorrow and BT and scan friday, so I will let you know how it goes.

I also just found out yesterday that a good friend of my is pregnant, so that made me a little sad (sad for me, but extremely happy for her!!).  All my friends are either pregnant or have just had babies, so there are babies or baby talk everywhere.

Will chat again soon!

Cherry.

Hi everyone

I knew it was only a matter of time before you took control of that list - you were itching, weren't you??? Thrive on it love. I saw that you want my due date. It's the 26th of January - Australia Day!!!

I will keep popping in to check on you all and see how you are going. Hopefully some of you will be moving ahead very shortly!!!

Take care everyone

I am sorry Bec, I waited and waited and waited for you to post it.  I tried to distract myself but it was just pointless - I had to do it !!!  I did send you a PM, didn't I ???

Cherry, I am CD10 today so have been injecting since CD3.  I have another blood test tomorrow and we will go from there.  I am expecting to have another bt plus ultrasound either Sat or Sunday and we will go from there.

Hi Girls, just a quick update to let you know where I'm up to. I pick up my drugs and start jabbing on Saturday so fingers crossed for OI/IUI #2. So how is everyone else going? I'm thinking of you all and have a positive feeling that June is going to be a good month. Everyone have a great day!

Hi everyone,

Well done Donna on the list - I was wondering when you would do it lol! You are brilliant at keeping it up to date so good on you! I am not actually injecting because we are doing natural IUI's but I don't know where else you would stick me so "injecting now' sounds fine original.gif

Welcome to all the newbies.  Hope your stay is short and sweet. The rest of us might have been around a bit longer but hopefully we will all move on soon as well.

I am feeling like crap at the moment. DS was sick and then I ended up really sick and now have sinusitis to top it all of. I am now on antibiotics but have just about stopped taking the pain killers. I am due for my first u/s and blood test tomorrow so I hope being sick etc doesn['t stuff us up for this month.

Also, I wish Monash IVF was open on a Sunday. Last month I ovulated early on day 13 which would be Monday if it happens again this month. I hope I go back to day  14 or 15 as normal because I am scared we will miss it with not being able to check on Sunday. I will be doing  a urine opk on Sunday anyway and if it comes up positive I will be demanding an IUI on Monday!

Off to blow my nose...... sad.gif

Well, I am CD11 today and had yet another blood test, which by the time I got home already has a nice little bruise.  I am so sick of these blood tests, I know they are necessary but I bruise after everyone of them.

There was one nurse who managed to do one without bruising but the following two she did came up that night.  Oh well, just one of the many pleasures I get to endure on this TTC journey !!!

Jill, does your clinic seriously not open on a Sunday.  The one I go to in WA does, just from 9am til 1pm but they are still open.  Even the ultrasound guy is there.  Our body's don't take a day off and sometimes that day is critical, I reckon that is a bit off actually.

Jactela, July feels so far away doesn't it, yet if you were waiting for anything it would get here so quickly, we will help you get there !!!

I so agree with you Donna about the Sunday - it really sucks - especially if you are doing a natural IUI! It is one of the things I had no idea about when I started and really don't want to change now with all the hassle etc. We will be moving to IVF soon so I guess it will be easier to work around then but right now it is a pain.
I also hear you about the bruising. I have never bruised so much from blood tests in my life before! What is the story? Even the first couple I had were shocking and the nurses both seemed to do a good job and were gentle etc but by the end of them all I looked like a total druggie and had to keep my arms covered up. The fun we go through.... Tounge1.gif

Now, to finish off a good day of feeling crappy I am about to go to the dentist to get a root canal finished that has taken almost 2 years to do!!!  Long story but getting pregnant when it was started put things on hold and then there were other delays. Hopefully this will be it.

OK, here's my update.  I am stimming at the moment (Clomid tabs) for IUI#6 (about bloody time, after waiting 2 months because of clinic staff away I'm definitely ready to go).  I am CD8 and have one more day of stimming, then the wait to check for follicles via ultrasound next Tuesday CD12 (hoping for 2 good ones), trigger Tuesday night and insem next Thursday morning.  Another acupuncture session next Monday to get things 'down there' all psyched up (and stronger herbs...yuck) and then acu on Thursday before and after insem to get things moving and sticking.  I figure if I get 2 eggs, coupled with the greater chances that the acu supposedly gives, I will maybe have a better chance of falling preg than not this month!!  Wishful thinking I know, but I am happy over here in fairyland.  Send me baby-dust!

Our clinic doesn't open on the weekends at all!  If AF starts on a certain day we can't do an insem that month (that has happenend twice so far...doh!).  The clinic is very small, so when staff have holidays or attend conferences then we have to wait too.  It's frustrating and I keep getting paranoid that it's a 'good egg' month that we're wasting.  I just had to learn to let it go.  I have even considered travelling to a bigger centre for treatment, but that causes too many problems of its own with leave from work, etc.  Just be patient girls.  Yeah right!!!

Good luck everyone!

Hi Girlls!  Just an update, I had another scan today (CD13), and I have a few 13mm follies, and have to have b/t on Sat and Sun, and the plan is to trigger Sun night, for IUI on Tue morning (CD17).  DH was away (but back tonight), so everything worked out really well for me.  I was really worried that he would not be here for the IUI, as he was supposed to be away longer.  My follies don't seem to grow terribly fast, and the f/s increased my purgegon back to 100U (from 75U), gearing up for Tues.

What CD have most of you been ovulating on, is it usually CD14, and have your Dr's adjusted the FSH to change the O day???  I am really curious, as I always seem to be "slow".  What sort of doses of puregon are the rest of you on, and how many follies do you get??

Donna, you must be close too?  We seem to be only a few days apart!  Anyway, now that DH is back after a few days away, I had better not stay on here too long (he might feel neglected!).

Have a wonderful weekend girls!!!!

Hey Cherry, yeah - we are pretty close together.  I am CD12 today and I am so stoked, I had EWCM when I went to the toilet tonight so I reckon I am getting close.  I have another BT and Ultrasound tomorrow and I have a feeling they will want me to trigger tomorrow night ready for Monday morning - at least I hope so.

The only difference is this time we will be BD as well cos I am positive we missed it with the IUI last time.

I wouldn't say that you were any slower than anyone else.  My body reacted a little slower this cycle than it did last one.  I ovulated on CD11 last time and we did the IUI on CD13.

<IMG border="0" src="http://www2.fertilityfriend.com/ticker/12ebc/ttc.png">

Do they give you your blood test results or just tell you to keep going ???  My clinic always says, things are going fine, keep on injecting and I always have to ask what my specific levels are.  They don't mind telling me but for me it is a critical part.  She said that they like the LH to be above 10 with an E2 of at least 800.  When they give me the figures it helps me work out how quickly they are increasing and I can give DH some advance notice and also plan the BD around it.

Soniq, good luck with the job hunting - hope you find something fantastic !!!

Kirsim, I can't believe your clinic doesn't open on the weekends. At my clinic there is one ultrasound guy and he works the full clinic hours (around 10 hours Monday to Friday) and then the weekend as well.  I know you said it is only a small place but is there anyway that they can coordinate with another clinic so you can do all your monitoring through them but go to another clinic if you happen to be ready over the weekend, I would have thought they would have an arrangement like that in place.

Jill, hope the root canal wasn't too painful !!!

Will let you all know how my bt results are tomorrow afternoon...

Hey gals, looks like we are gearing up for Tuesday.  I am a bit bummed cos my body is showing signs of ovulating over the weekend but we will stick with the clinic and just BD on our own too (shh, that is our secret !!!)

I had one nice fat follie on my left ovary at 20mm and nada on my right so definately no over stimulation this cycle.  I had a laugh with the ultrasound guy and told him that if he finds two on one side first he isn't allowed to check the other side...

I have my trigger in the fridge ready to take Sunday night - Cherry, definately looks like we are going to be cycle buddies, how great to have someone to obsess over everything with.

Just an update on me. AF found me yesterday - so I am a bit flat today. My clinic makes you take one months break in between IUI's - what a pain. Don't really know the reason for this - does anyone else?

My clinic also does not open on weekends - haven't really had to deal with this yet - here's hoping I won't have to!

Hope all are well - good luck.

Hi Girls, Hope you all had a great weekend. Just a quick one to let you know where I'm at. Started jabbing again on Saturday for OI/IUI #2. B/T Wednesday.

Donna - Goodluck on Tuesday

Adell - Sorry to hear that AF arrived. I cant believe that your clinic is going to make you have a month break, that sucks. I go to Westmead Fertility Centre  and they ask you if you want a break or not and they are open 7 days a week.

Hi,
I had my first IUI this morning (cd 15) and was wondering if I could join in?  A bit of info about me :  I stopped taking the pill in Dec 02 and my cycle did not start until 6 months later.  I convinced my gp to send me to a gyno who put me on serophene.  Did a couple of cycles 75-150mg  then referred to fs as it appeared I wasn't ovulating.  Long story short I am but not until about day 20.  I had a lap etc and all clear, DH swimmers good.  I have lost count of the number of clomid cycles I have done, it could be around 15.  So this cycle is the first of possibly 6 IUI's with serophene before we move onto ivf.

Good luck to everyone
