Okay guys, my husband and I have decided to try for baby number 3, and someone mentioned not using any lubricant?
I have Googled it, and some sites say don't use it, others contradict that and say it is a myth so it's fine.
From memory,  I think occasionally I used it for my other children,  and I had no concern falling pregnant,  but now it is in my head!
What do you think?

We jokingly call Conceive Plus lubricant the boy baby maker. It seemed to work for us and our extended family. Good luck.

There's a certain type you can use, most Chemists sell it but not the normal stuff ( KY etc). It's located where the pregnancy tests etc are. Concieve Plus and First Response are 2 brands that do.

I remember reading that it can slow down sperm. We used one called Pre-Seed.

We used Preseed.  Some pharmacies sell sperm friendly lubricant or you can order online.  I did some reading on pubmed and Preseed came out the best in tests, normal lubricants can reduce sperm motility, but they're not sure how that translates from lab to IRL and some of the supposedly conception friendly lubricants weren't any better than normal lubricants.
