After a new car seat for DD4 almost 5, but so confused with the different types! I prefer infasecure because I know how to use them already and find them good quality. Obviously want a safe one too

Recommendations?

Britax maxi guard pro or maxi guard

Baby Love Ezy Grow (Britax makes baby love)

Infasecure grandeur aka titanium or emperor or achieve or cadence

Maxi Guard super easy to install and easy adjust harness. Can go basic, do or pro plus but if budget conscious the base model is great and does everything you could need to keep your kids safe.

Love our maxi guard pros.  I got the baby love ezy grows for my dad's car and they have to be removed to rethread the 5 point harness when going up a level. Wouldn't have bought them if I'd realised that.

Another vote for the maxiguard.

Super easy to adjust the harness height as well when the 4 year old wants to sit in his brothers seat.

The other advantage for the maxi guard is that it has the very real possibility of being the last car seat you’ll need. My then nine year old tried it and had space. He now is 11, 147cm and meets the 5 step test- he has in the middle seat of our car for about a year. (He’s too broad now so I haven’t tried him in his brothers seat.)
