3rd baby, Being induced tomorrow with Cervidil....any comments you have/success story's/anything really so I have an idea of how it works, what will happen etc. (Obviously I know everyone and every labour is different) all 3 of mine have been very different.

I was given a double dose of the gel at 8pm, a third dose at 2amish. Waters Broke spontaneously at 5.45am and labour started naturally shortly afterward baby arrived about 8am. It was fast and intense but a lot easier on me than the long drawn out forceps delivery I had with my first.

I was induced with Cervidil for my second bub. I was admitted the night before my booked induction, my Ob met me and inserted the tape. Didn't hurt but was an uncomfortable, scratchy feeling, for a second or two. I went to sleep, Ob came back in the morning to remove it, again an uncomfortable scratchy feeling, was eventually started on a very low dose induction drip (which was only increased slightly). Bubs was born that afternoon. One thing to note, if you go to the bathroom with the tape in, you have to "dab" instead of wipe, in case you dislodge the tape. I had a positive experience with it. Best of luck!
