Because I'm bored and trying to get a toddler to sleep I'm googling dresses for my maid of honour (honor?).

I'm getting married in November. I have 4 bridesmaids, all different shapes and heights. I have decided for the same colour but their personal preference dress - it's just to be a cocktail summer garden party type dress (πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ great description I know).

My maid of honour however, hates shopping. Has just been through a huge year that has destroyed her confidence and self esteem. She is a little wallflower and I know that she wishes she could blend into the background and where a potato sack.

I'm on the hunt for the perfect dress for her. She lives in Melbourne (I'm in Perth) so to ease her mind a bit, im looking for dresses I can order online and get sent to her for her to try on at home (with me on Skype).

I seemed to have looked everywhere and can't find anything that screams "this is her dress" ifykwim. When I saw the other bridemaid dresses, I just knew "that's ABC. She will look amazing".

Please help me out and send through any dark blush garden cocktail type dresses! She a short tiny size 8-10.

TIA 😁😁😁

If she’s the maid of honour, you could do a different colour, like a gold or a moss green. That would help her stand out and might widen the number of options?

I love this idea! She would look incredible in green because she is a red head with fair skin (hence the darker blush colour as pink is a no go!)

It's this colour πŸ™‚ https://www.esther.c...ress-dusty-pink

some stores call it different things, so far I have found:

Dusty pink
Dusty rose
Mauve
Dark rose

I'm thinking of a lace dress as so far there's two similar "flowy" styles and one lace dress so it can still be symmetrical but different.

(I will attach the other dresses shortly πŸ™‚)

Something that could compliment the other colour, be different, and go with her hair could be:-

if she doesn't want to stand out I don't think I'd go a different colour for her. It would definitely make her stand out.
rose pink or dark blush look  great on red heads anyway (my DD1 is one)
