That’s simultaneously shocking and not at all surprising.

I hope she’s got plenty of supportive people around her at the moment.

Oh wow.

Again the Leunig calendars advertising... I don’t think so.

It says 'series' I can only see one post. Although that one post is perhaps enough...

I feel sick in the stomach for her.  The poor woman...so SO brave.

That poor woman :(

That poor woman. I’m glad she found a somewhere that she felt accepted and supported.

But I’m burning with rage that it even happened. That prick. That jerk. That evil ****. Unfortunately there are too many of them in existence who thinks it’s their right.

Note that it's a man commenting that this has to go offline. Silencing again.

Wow. That gives her gunshot cartoon even more context than it already had.

Oh my gosh. I’m not surprised though. He clearly hates women and sees them as the property of men.

I don’t have Twitter, so can’t see what is being discussed there. I saw Mary’s response to something by ML? WTF has he done now?

It’s on Mary Leunig’s public Facebook page.

If you click on the FB link, you can see the series of about eight drawings.  Truly horrible.

It says it was in response to Michael's cartoon. Anyone know what that was?

#21 MrsLexiK

Gosh. I wonder if EB will take the calendar down now.

That poor woman being quiet all these years while he shone.

This is apparently what she is responding to.

I assume this one published on the weekend.
The necessary prince.
He’s a prince, he’s been blessed,
He’s on the spectrum, he’s depressed,
He’s got anxiety and addictions,
He has many strange afflictions,
He’s not happy, he’s not glorious,
He’s been accused, he’s notorious
He’s got worries, he’s got scandals
He burns both ends of many candles,
He is growing old and stale,
He’s a patriarchal male,
He’s pursued by paparazzi,
He gets called a creep, a nazi,
Stupid, ugly, clumsy, dim,
We can all relate to him.
Though we groan and whine and wince
He’s our necessary prince.
