Hi am wondering if anyone has bought a portable netball ring? Do they actually work ok? Why sort of base did you get? Any recommendations would be appreciated as my daughter has asked for one for Christmas
Thank you

You mean the one you can move around your backyard?

We have one like that. Works fine. The base is filled up with water, to give it some stability. In our current home, it has its own place, so it doesn't get moved much. In previous homes, it would get moved in/out as needed. My girls play with it it all the time.

What do you mean by portable?

We have this one or something similar:

It's great and my girls have been using it in the back yard for years to practice their shooting.  Just make sure you adjust it to the right height if your kids are playing netball as a sport.  It's no good to be practicing on a goal that is not the same height that you actually use in a game.

Before we got this one we did have a cheaper one that you pegged into the lawn but it wasn't really very stable and the girls prefer to practice on the pavers rather than the lawn.
