One thing with Europa-Park is that it’s huge. Really to big to do in just 1 day. Disneyland Paris is more compact and easier to see in 1 day.

Depends what you are looking for. We went to Disneyland in LA for 3 days without kids and it was magical. Just seeing the castle and the parades every night was lovely. But it was quite an exhausting experience with long days and some long queues (partly our fault for being there for the 50th anniversary!).
We also went to Knott’s Berry Farm. Whilst is was no where near as flash, the queues were almost non existent and we had a really fun day. Would have been an easier place to go with kids.

Tbh, we haven't done many theme parks. Missed out on the original legoland, unforeseen circumstances, but Tivoli Gardens was one of the best days we've ever had as a family. We changed our plan to drop Europa park off the visit list. Wish we went.

We've been to all Disneyland/Disney theme parks (well except the one in Shanghai) for us the best one is Tokyo Disneyland, it's fun, staff are extra wonderful and super neat!

We decided to head to the US over Christmas/New Years. Not wanting to spend 3 weeks in Boston, we thought perhaps heading to Florida for a while, and doing the Kennedy Space Centre.
Flying into Orlando. I suspect DS12 hasn't researched what's in Orlando....
So, Disneyworld or Universal? Or something else?
