Last night, just outside my Woolies' fresh fruit and bakery section, were 2 box displays of red and green wrapping paper. The box said Merry Christmas.

I am speechless...

I freaked out the other day when I realised my birthday is in just over a month. Where has the year gone

Probably just a “Christmas in July” promotion. I’ve seen a few minor displays around. I hope that’s it.

Meanwhile, we all had plum pudding and custard for dessert tonight. It was left over from last Christmas. Yum.

I feel so disorganised this year.  I had finished all of my shopping and worked out most things relating to Christmas.

I have not even started shopping and have no idea what to get for anyone.

I am 1/2 way through my Christmas shopping.... I am only purchasing hand made gifts this year to reduce our waste. So I have been purchasing at markets and on Etsy.
I try and have everything done by October because I hate last minute Christmas shopping

I haven't even THOUGHT about Christmas!
My birthday is 6 weeks away and therefore far more important.

Me too, I did 90% of mine online in the end of financial year sale. Bring on Christmas, I’m not scared :)

I’m having a baby 5 weeks before Christmas so I’m locking it down by the end of September. I’ve started and it’s going well. 111 days until baby #3 has me more worried...

Same. I save a small fortune buying most gifts for the year at Boxing Day and end of financial year sales. I would be the guy grabbing some rolls of wrapping paper, except I already got them Boxing Day.

Can we keep the seasonal foods though?

I’ve started my shopping. My DP thinks I’m crazy but thanks me every Dec when we don’t have to venture to the shops and deal with the madness.

I for one (and I think I am the only one), cannot wait!

Do any of you have little kids? I missed Christmas two years ago (in hospital having a tumour removed and starting chemo), so I’m making the most of Christmas while DS is young enough to still believe in the joy!

We’ll also hopefully have a Christmas baby arriving in time this year :)
