Hi everyone,

I have an appointment with Fertility Specialist soon but just wanting to vent and see what others think..

We have been TTC our second bub for 18 months (our bub is now 2).

In April 2018 we had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and have had multiple early miscarriages / chemicals since then.

Around the time of our first miscarriage in April I experienced a sharp stabbing/shooting pain which feels like its more in rectum?

Since then I have this pain on and off during the first few days of my period, it happens randomly mainly when I sit down or during bowel movement or need to go..

Lately the pain seems to be a bit worse and now around ovulation time there is a mild pain in similar area but not as bad. Also the last month during sex around ovulation time there was discomfort / deep pain.

Yesterday and today I have had pelvic pain while I urinate and during bowel movement, also pain when I wake up in the morning busting to wee and on and off pelvic pain during the day..

I am glad I am finally seeing a fertility specialist. My gynecologist seems to think the sharp shooting pains are muscular and isn't concerned about endometriosis but I just can't help but worry that it is endometriosis or something else!?

I am ovulating and sometimes fertilizing and implanting then miscarrying within the week!?   :(

I have had multiple blood tests, ultrasounds, CT scans and everything is showing as fine. Husband has had semen analysis and that was great.

I had a urine test today just to make sure the pain yesterday and today isn't a UTI so will get results early next week..

I keep googling symptoms (I know worst thing to do!!) which is stressing me out.

Sorry for the long post!

Thanks xxx

Sorry to say but that sounds like endo to me too :( I get similar pains at similar timings plus spotting between O and AF. My endo was removed in Jan and it still hasn’t got me a BFP but the spotting has reduced.
I’d push for a lap to investigate and if u do have endo then have it removed by excision and try naturally for a couple months.
Good luck :)

Thanks, I have been googling and endo keeps coming up...

I am seeing a different specialiast this week, he is an ob/gyn/fertility specialist so hopefully he looks into all the symptoms more than my last ob/gyn did..

Thank you
xx

None of my GPs ever suspected endo even with me asking. FS said I had it straight away...experience is definitely worth the cost :) I hope you get listened to!

Marley.H,
I reckon it sounds like endo too. I’ve also got it and unfortunately it isn’t easily detected in ultrasounds unless it’s causing scarring or adhesions with other organs (I got told that last week!) Typically laparoscopic techniques are the only way to tell what’s going on with it and then they try to fix it whilst they’re there.
I go in for my fifth lap next Wednesday.
I hope you’re new Doc listens to you and tries to sort it out for you.
