Post any good movies you come across that are leaving Netflix.

I’ve just watched Gremlins.  It goes either tonight (Sunday) or Monday.  I’m so glad I got to see it.  I saw it as a kid but it was too scary for me.  I was 7 when it came out.

Pretty much all the marvel films and anything Disney.

It’s sad. I think We have seen the peak in streaming TV convenience. When Netflix was the biggest and almost only player, they had everything. Now they have lost so much content that we are currently paying for three different streaming services instead of one.
Once Disney starts their own service, and other big content producers do the same, it’s going to either be expensive to pay for them all, or people will simply go back to downloading things illegally.
I actually think Netflix is at risk of going broke by trying to keep up. I’m not sure they will win this race.

We have come full circle. At first we downloaded illegally because the shows were hard to find or you had to pay for really expensive pay TV. Then we stopped downloading cause it was easy and cheap to pay for it, now it’s back to being difficult and expensive.

Disney/Marvel are currently on Stan only. There is still no timeframe for when the Disney only channel will come to Australia, so they have given the rights to Stan.

There are lists printed of what’s being released/removed on a month to month basis.

eta: just this month alone they are adding 15 movies/shows, but getting rid of 39!

Its so frustrating when the start of a season leaves. I saw S1 of Homeland, then wanted to watch s2 later but when I went onto it there was only s4 onwards :(
