I have moved into my own little place and it has the most boring bland kitchen window office like blinds. I would like to install something white to lift the room ( beige walls and beige floor) - would love some ideas and inspirations if you have recently updated your kitchen window curtains/blinds etc.
I have updated the bathroom and had white plantation shutters put in - love them - so at loss with the kitchen window which is right over the sink

How about a coloured roller blind. I’ve got the same issue with my kitchen. Beige everything. When the previous roller blind broke we replaced it with a turquoise one. I really had my doubts when DH suggested it but it looks great and really brightens up the room.

Whatever you get, get something that can be easily cleaned.
Our window is close enough to the stove that a greasy film can build up on the window covering. It’s so much easier to wipe down the shutters we have now than the mini blinds we used to have.
