We’re flying out tomorrow and I can’t find a definitive answer on line.  We Have booked Extra Comfort seat as I’m the shortest in the house at 5’8” and I refuse to pay $5000 each for business class to Hawaii.

Website says that extra comfort gets some perks, but I can’t confirm if this is just at US airports, or here as well.

When you checked in for the flight in Sydney was there a dedicated checkin desk for extra comforts, or do you just queue with everyone else?

I read somewhere that there was maybe a dedicated online check in queue.  Can you confirm?

DP and DS11 flew in May. Yes, dedicated checkin, a little more legroom and a toiletries bag.
And yes, online checkin queue too. Actually, it may have been for that rather than separate for EC checkin.

My husband flew this leg enroute to Boston from Sydney a few days ago. He paid an extra $189 to upgrade to economy comfort. Probably an extra 10cms of leg room. Not sure it made a material difference for him

How did he find this route? DP was flying to meet her family in Hawaii - her brother lives in Boston. We’ve been flying via Japan but I wondered whether via Hawaii was a workable option
