Hi Ladies..
My period is due tomorrow. Took a First Response this afternoon and got the below result...
Pregnant or should I wait????
When should I visit my GP for bloods?

I took one of those cheapy eBay test strips and they have been negative!

Very clearly pregnant.

There is no immediate rush to have a blood test, this can be done at any time in the first couple of months (you mean the full blood screen, screen for infections etc I assume?).

But if you plan to go private, I’d call your preferred OB to book in first thing in the morning. They can book out very quickly. Then book a GP at a time that is convenient for you, to get a referral for the OB and your blood tests and a scan if you plan to have one.

Definite positive there! Congratulations!!! The cheapies didn’t show up positive for me for ages. 31 weeks pregnant now!

Congrats! I assume you mean the blood test to confirm the pregnancy. You could do that anytime from now on - might be good to wait a few days though so the number is nice and high and there’s no stress about a low number.
