I’m not coping with the nausea at all. My mum has taken the last few days off work to help me with my other kids because I just feel so awful. I’m really hoping this passes quickly like my first pregnancy. My second pregnancy I was sick till 2 weeks after I gave birth so I’m praying this pregnancy isn’t like that.

Mine has started to calm down.

My anxiety is through the roof as I don’t feel pregnant anymore 😑 my boobs are sore sometimes and a little nausea if I don’t eat every 3-4hrs. I think I might be an anxious pregnant mama this time 😔

sh*t just got real. I have my midwife appointment booked, my nuchal test to book the week of my birthday, and I get to do a GD test that week too...

We're back from holiday now and I'm booked in for a dating scan first thing on Monday. Very nervous about it all.
Saw a GP yesterday and she already started talking birth plans etc. She was pushing me towards going private again, mainly because of my age (41). I don't have private HI anymore and was set on going through the midwife program at our new local hospital but now I'm considering getting my OB but deliver in a public hospital. If all goes well and there is a heartbeat on Monday, I'll call the OB I had with my son and find out if that's an option.
What's everyone else doing?

Hi everyone, sorry have not checked in for a while.

Lulubear- I’m having the same anxiety, I’m 10 weeks now, the past few days I haven’t felt so sick, immediately I think the worst. I’m finding it hard to be excited this time around.
I have NIPT test on Wednesday, so they do a quick u/s first, very anxious about that.

Terfl- I’m 40, planning to go through the midwife program at my local public. I figure I’ll be monitored closely, and will have access to a specialist if required, usually one of the same ones I might have picked if going private, so I’m comfortable with public. (Also no private cover for obstetrics, based on this decision)

Terfl- I’m planning to go through the midwifery group practice and just have the one midwife (that’s the plan). I will end up labelled high risk in a couple of weeks so they are hopeful by being in their program I can see the one midwife and then ob to sign off etc.

DK3000- good to know I’m not alone. I had the worst nausea and bloating yesterday though. I’m just so worried this pregnancy. I wasn’t like this at all with my first.

Ah this stage isn’t great with the morning sickness and nausea! I don’t have it as bad as last time, however it still sucks and I feel bad for my son as I can’t look after him as well I would like too.

Just wondering, has anyone set up a social media group yet? Will be a bit easier to follow and learn who everyone is 😊

Lizie22 - I don’t think so yet but I’m happy to but we can’t talk about in the group rather needs to be via PM

Terfl how did your dating scan go ?

Lulubear ive been lucky not to have to do the GTT this time as I had the fasting sugar test done with my initial bloods and it although passed for a non pregnant person, my levels at fasting only were 0.2 above the new stricter cut offs for pregnancy .so I’m on the GDM diet and will have a GTT next week if any of my post meal bsl’s are over 6.7 which so far none have been ! It’s a pita .

Had our first ultrasound yesterday and discovered we are expecting twins! Super excited but slightly scared at the same time. This is our first pregnancy. I was on fertility medication so knew there was an increased chance but you are always like ‘things like that don’t happen to us’... well it did.

My anxiety has been struggling with being pregnant so despite always wanting two kids I’d decided this was going to be it. We’d have to be satisfied with one as I wasn’t going through this again... all going well, we will get the best of both worlds!

Congrats jp251014! Wow how exciting! Will you find out the genders? Are they able to determine in utero
if they’re identical or not?

Amazing JP that’s such lovely news !

Oh wow, JP! TWINS! Congratulations!

Msjme, my scan on Monday went well. Heartrate was 133 and measured exactly 7wks, which is pretty consistent with LMP. Although they gave me Feb 23rd as due date and that would actually mean 7+1. Guess it doesn't really matter either way

Congratulations JP!!! What a shock!!!:)

Terfl- great news:) I think +/- a day or 2 is pretty common.

I had my NIPT blood test today, they also do a scan beforehand. Such a relief everything is measuring spot on for 10w5d, baby was moving around a lot.
We chose to not find out the sex, and wait for a surprise. I might change my mind later though.

They are saying non-identical at this stage because they have two separate sacs. Plus the fact I was on fertility drugs means it’s highly likely I just released two eggs.

Technician made sure there wasn’t a third...

Hi all, I’m a FTM and am 10+3 due 9/2. I’m new to forums so need to learn all the acronyms!

I’ve just had NIPT on Monday and received results back today which were all low risk :). Heart rate at scan was 180

Has a social account been set up as would love to keep up to date with how everyone is tracking

Hi there. I would be keen to join this due in group. Can I be added to the social media group please.

Currently 11+1 with baby #2, edd 13/2. I have a 5yo boy. This will be pregnancy #4 for me with 2 previous consecutive miscarriages last year. So happy to be almost at the 12 weeks mark with no issues.

Hi lovely ladies! I’m Steph and I think I’m about 9 weeks. I already have a little girl who is 2.5 ❤️❤️ I had an incredibly traumatic pregnancy, birth and postnatal period with her so I didn’t want any more babes but after working through all the trauma I finally came round to the idea. Had a dating scan on the Thursday just gone and you wouldn’t believe it... TWINS! Shxt just definitely got real. My MS has been out of control which I just put down to being a boy. Boy was I wrong 😂😂 looking forward to meeting you all. Please feel free to PM me to sort out that thing that must not be named 😂😂 hope you’re all doing well xx

Hey all! Havent been on the forum for a long time but need to vent and find hopefully some comfort.
So I am 13w 3days. NIPT was totally fine and had my anatomy scan last week.
All looked good until the NT measurement which was 5mm. Max should be 3. Had to have a CVS straight away and the wait is horrible. So stressed out. My OB is telling me not to worry as nothing else appears to be an issue but I also had a MC last pregnancy. Anyways hope everyone is doing well!
