I literally can't conjure up any empathy for others outside of the people I know, none.  I fake it most of the time. I don't get why people care so much. I would never harm anyone but at the same time I don't care about other people outside my friends and family. So am I a psycho?

For example if my child was pushed over in the school yard I would be upset but if a random stranger is hit by a bus I feel nothing. I am racked with built about my lack of emotion but it's the truth....am I a total psycho?

You've started a couple of odd threads lately and from memory you have significant mental health issues so maybe these feelings you have are part and parcel of your illness.

Do you have someone caring for you at the moment because your posts are quite worrying.
Please look after yourself and get some help if possible.

I’m not sure anyone on EB is qualified to answer that for you. Have you spoken to anyone in real life about this?

OP, I suggest calling LifeLine, 13 11 14. The people there I have found can be very helpful and understanding

Hey Apple, I second calling Lifeline 13 11 14, it appears you are struggling a bit at the moment and some professional support could help. Thinking of you, life seems quite overwhelming for you xxxx

That's a very heavy question OP, one best suited to someone from your mental health team.
Do you have a contact no. that you can use to get in touch with a member of your team?

Appleaday, I am so sorry you are struggling at the moment.

I can only echo what has been suggested up thread and agree that maybe EB isnt the  best place to answer your question.
Im going to lock this now as I dont want this thread to cause inadvertent harm to anyone.

Thank you
