Going quietly mad in my 2ww post embryo transfer and I have boys names on the mind. What do you prefer for a little boy?
Sibling to Phoebe Amelia. Middle name is likely James - although that’s not set in stone

Oscar James

OR

Elliott James

Thanks x

Both great choices. OJ initials may or may not matter to you? Last name isn’t Simpson?

Oscar. I love Oscar.

OJ is annoying - maybe Oscar Elliott or Oscar George instead?

Oscar hands down.

I love both too.  I know adorable boys named both but interestingly I don't know any adult Oscars or Elliotts in my social group.

The OJ initials hadn't occurred to me until pointed out.  I'm assuming it wouldn't have that much relevance going forward but it could possibly be annoying.

I love both. If I had to pick I'd go with Oscar.

Both go great with Phoebe, but the OJ initials could be an issue? But I guess you'd have to see it written down to see that, or it could be a cool NN?

I love both (in fact they may be our cats names..)  but I think I'd go with Elliot as it's slightly less popular

I really like Elliot.

Emmet is also good if you are looking to add ideas to your list.

I have an Oscar, so of course picking that!
I'll second the suggestion of Oscar Elliot.

I think you hit the nail on the head. These names to me both suit a little boy, but not a grown man.

Both lovely names, however I'd go with Elliot as it's less popular at the moment.

Elliot James sounds lovely.

Elliott. I actually know a couple of adult Elliott’s.

I like Oscar but too many people in our circle have pets called Oscar so I associate it with cats, dogs, budgies and fish.
