Once, in my early 20s I almost changed my name to Alice. I really, really love it. Couldn't convince my husband to use the name. I'm not really a fan of any of the middle names

I don’t like it, it’s very plain and just doesn’t do it for me. However it is very popular at the moment and everyone else seems to love it so I seem to be the exception!

I don't like it.

Every time I hear it I break out into song "Alice, Alice, who the **** is Alice".

Alice is cool, accomplished and confident.  Yeah it's an appealing name!

Something French in the middle I think:

Alice Mathilde
Alice Claudette
Alice Brigitte
Alice Nadine
Alice Perrine
Alice Corinne
Alice Mireille

For it’s all about living next door to Alice, when I hear the name I start singing the song.

It’s nms but there are worse names, that’s for sure.

Mireille is one of my fave girl names! (Though I have to say Nadine sounds very dated to my ears.) Alice Mireille is divine. Alice to me is classic but not boring.

Alice is classic, polished, and impeccable.

You could go with many classic or old fashioned middles and I like Alice Matilda. Alice Caroline. Alice Odette. Alice Veronica.

But I think I personally would go with a quirky middle since she would have the option to always be Alice.

Alice Jonquil
Alice Peridot
Alice Theodora
Alice Keturah
Alice Xanthe

That song got in my head when I saw this thread!

That said, I still think the name is lovely.

A bit too cute/little girly for me. Sounds like someone who should be wearing a pinafore, or operating a restaurant as per the old song "Alice's Restaurant".

Love love love it. I would have used it for my daughter had it gone with our last name.

As for the song reference, neither her nor her contemporaries are likely to ever know the song so I wouldn't factor that in.

Beautiful, classic name that suits kids and adults. I like all the mn apart from Sophia but that’s just personal taste.

I love, love, love the name and agree with pp that it's a classic name that suits both children and adults.

My niece is Alice Maude.  She hates Maude!  None of your middle name suggestions grab me unfortunately but I'm rubbish at name selection!

Love Alice. A beautiful classic that is perfect for any age of life.

From your list I like Alice Violet best.

I think of Alice in Wonderland. A classic, pretty name.

Beautiful name.

Although I do like the "who the F is Alice" song it doesn't jump in my head when I hear it.

Alice Maree came into my mind when thinking about middle names.

We used Alice as a middle name. I think it works well as a middle name, simple, not too long but still with some style.
