My older boy is Emmett. Thanks π #2Posted 03 December 2018 - 10:07 AM
Neither. Sorry.
#3Posted 03 December 2018 - 10:09 AM
I am in team neither also.
#4Posted 03 December 2018 - 10:13 AM
Sorry neither floats my boat either OP. I like your older sonβs name.
#5Posted 03 December 2018 - 10:21 AM
I like the sound of Emmett and Jed.
#6Posted 03 December 2018 - 10:22 AM
Out of the two options I would say Jed goes better with Emmett.
#7Posted 03 December 2018 - 10:26 AM
Love Emmett. I prefer Jed over Merrick. Do you have any other options?
#8Posted 03 December 2018 - 10:28 AM
Thanks for your replies......
Astrocyte-nope but open to suggestions ν ½νΉ #9Posted 03 December 2018 - 10:39 AM
I quite like Jed evenn though it's a bit Beverly Hillbillies (omg the 2nd time I've typed that word today - how weird) but I don't think will be relevant to him or his peers

Avery
Devon Jethro Levi Mason Of the two I prefer Jed but neither are favourites. I do love Emmett though. We nearly went with Emmett but ended up with Lucas #11Posted 03 December 2018 - 10:40 AM
I know a Gerard who goes by the nickname Jed - might be an option?
#12Posted 03 December 2018 - 12:39 PM
Merrick! Old favourite.

I think Emmett and Merrick seem a bit sorta matchy.. I don't know why but they do to me.
Jed is nice but I don't think it fits with Emmett. Emmett is soft and nice and Jed is much more 'masculine' and harsh sounding. What about: Ambrose Tobias Elias Julian Gabriel Tristan Henry George Abel Ezra Maxim Louis Vincent Hamish #14Posted 03 December 2018 - 01:19 PM
Merrick doesn't really appeal to me.
Jed is fine, I would pick that. #15Posted 03 December 2018 - 01:31 PM
Jedd
Love this name..was on my list! #16Posted 03 December 2018 - 03:25 PM
I like Jed and Judd too.
Merrick just doesnβt sit well with me, I canβt my finger on why. #17Posted 03 December 2018 - 04:07 PM
Merrick and Emmett donβt quite work together. The similar double middle sound and length of name will probably have you saying βEmmickβ and βMerrettβ half the time.
Vote therefore for Jed. But perhaps Jude or Josh would work better with Emmett? #18Posted 03 December 2018 - 04:14 PM
Jed. by a mile.
#19Posted 03 December 2018 - 04:19 PM
Sorry, neither. Both sound a bit bogan.
#20Posted 03 December 2018 - 04:22 PM
Not a fan of either I'm afraid.
#21Posted 03 December 2018 - 04:24 PM
Of the two I would choose Jed.
Emmett and Irah Emmett and Zeke Emmett and Wyatt Emmett and Oakley Emmett and Jasper Emmett and Amos Emmett and Milo Emmett and Spencer Also like PP's Emmett and Griffin #22Posted 03 December 2018 - 04:27 PM
I vote Jed. Itβs fine :-)
#23Posted 03 December 2018 - 05:16 PM
I like Jed, itβs spunky!

I like Jed more but it feels like a nick?
I like Jet, Jake, Zach, Zeke, Zed etc as NNs. Prefer Kendrick or Isaac to Merrick. 0 user(s) are reading this topic0 members, 0 guests, 0 anonymous users |
