Have you got a carrier? I found that the way to go with my second. If there is a baby wearing meet near you, I highly recommend going along. There are lots of ways to carry your baby.

I had a different (but similar) product for my first, she loved it, second hated it. Both babies just wanted to be carried. First baby hated the wrap and carrier, second baby loved them. And, can you try before you buy? Or buy second hand, there is usually a good market for things like that as they get used for such a short period.
Anyway, hope this bumps things and someone who has actually used the product can answer your questions.

I know several people whose bubs didn’t take to the mamaroos at all, after spending all that money on them many people I know have used the baby bjorn bouncer with great success though, as an alternative, and it’s a bit less expensive. My sister who is a paediatrician in a hospital actually said the only babies in the nursery who seem to like the mamaroos are unfortunately the bubs who are born addicted to drugs. Most others in her experience don’t care for it. Can you try one with bub before buying?
