Hey Northumberland,
It’s the most frustrating thing ever. :-(
I checked from about end of the 2016 when I had an instance of being late by about 6 days before AF came along. Wondering now if the same thing is going to happen. If AF is going to come I wish she’d show her face already so I can just get past it and carry on.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Pal. Wishing you all the best. Take care of yourself.

Roxy - I feel the same way, hurry up and show up AF or else BFP show up! Limbo sucks :(

I tested this afternoon because my boobs were so sore all day, and I couldn’t wait any longer.......BFN.  AF must be on her way.

What DPO are you Chookieee? May be still too early?

I’m 11DPO today and been too scared to test. I’ve not had nearly as many ‘symptoms’ as I usually get every other cycle (every other cycle has been nothing but BFNs for me) but my boobs have been absolutely killing me for the last couple of days. I sometimes get tender boobs but nothing like this. They hurt when I walk!!

I was going to test yesterday but I’m so worried about a BFN and that the little fantasy in my head that I’m pregnant will be crushed. I think this is all starting to get to me to be honest. We’ve had all the tests done and there’s no medical roadblock and we’re doing all the right things at the right time so why have I never had a second line?

Sorry for the vent guys

I’m 10DPO peebs.  May be too early? But I read somewhere that if your body is producing enough HCG to give you sore boobs then you would have enough for a BFP. It might not be correct but that does make sense to me, so that’s why I think I’m out. I suppose it’s never over til AF arrives though! Peebs I totally understand what you mean with the pregnant fantasy in your head.. I get it every time!!! Vent away this is a very supportive group and we all understand the frustrations! Fingers crossed for you , will you test tomorrow?

That does make sense Chookiee, I try and always remind myself of all those ladies who don’t get their bfps until really late and things like that, there must be so many factors at play with these tests! And def not out until af shows, crossing my fingers for you too :)
Yep testing tomorrow morning...eeeeekkk

Welcome RoxyKH and Northumberland, hope you both get answers soon! Temps still high could be a good sign tho!

Sometimes cycles can change slightly if you O’d earlier or later than usual. I had one cycle early this year that was only 23 days! The rest have been super regular on 27/28 depending on if I O on CD 13 or 14

Hi everyone!

Pal - I’m so sorry. My heart breaks for you. I have everything crossed the clinic can give you some answers and help deliver a rainbow.

Roxy- I have been pregnant despite getting a BFN on the first and second day I was late. But of course, I have also been late and then not been pregnant.

Welcome to all the other newbies.

I’m currently CD14. Last few months having a weird mid cycle mini bleed. Don’t know what that’s all about TTC #2 for 6 months now.

Baby dust to all x

RoxyKH and Northumberland - I hope you both get your BFP soon 🤞 I unfortunately had a similar situation last month where AF didn’t show up until (rather rudely in the middle of the night) on CD37. I’d previously always averaged 28 days and had never had a cycle past 31 days. I still don’t know why but it was the longest and most frustrating week. Good luck

Pal- sending lots of hugs :( hope you get some answers so you can fix whatever is happening xx

Hi ladies, here for another month!
I’m currently waiting for AF to arrive. We didn’t try this month, no tracking or temping and only 2 BD that may or may not have been around the right time? I have a feeling first one was 3-4days before ovulation and the other the day after. So I’m pretty much 99.9% sure I’ll get AF tonight/tomorrow especially as I have brown spotting. That 0.01% is starting to annoy me though as my cycles have been 28/29 days recently and I’m on the night of CD29.
Still need to make that FS appointment haha cycle number 22ish with no BFP ever.

Does anyone else here actually really not like kids? I’m not keen on kids but I love babies...I feel like if it was my own kid then I could deal better but I’m a little concerned I’m past the devastated/desperate part of TTC and starting to think maybe it’s not meant to be?

Peebs- I have everything crossed for u that you get a BFP this morning :) the symptom spotting is such a hard thing to ignore, hope this is the last month you have to do it!

Hi everyone! TTC since around July, but we've only been able to "try" one cycle so far because I have PCOS and my cycles have gone to sh*t and I haven't been ovulating. CD11 today, taking Clomid, and we're meeting with our donor tomorrow and Sunday so fingers crossed!

I’m out for the count unfortunately. :-( Cm check yielded some pink which is standard for me. Got a bfn this morning too.
Best of luck to everyone else. Here’s to trying again this month.

I’m so sorry Pal :( I cant imagine how you feel, that is just so awful. I hope the clinic can give you some answers x

Good luck with the FS Nepo. I’ll probably be joining the IVF route soon!

Good luck Roxy and North. Sometimes is just a waiting game. It’s could be a sneaky bfp, but I have heard of long cycles - just “because.” Cycles can be delayed for a whole host of reasons. But let’s hope they are bfps waiting for you both x

Edit: D’oh .. I keep doing this. Sending a post when there is another page of posts to go. Sorry Roxy - hope you get better luck next cycle x

im so sorry to hear the news Pal30, I couldn't begin to imagine how you must feel. Sending hugs your way xx

Crookedframe, I kbow the pain of not ovulating. for me I ovulate every second cycle but each cycle lasts 40-60 days.

I'm currently on CD53, and believe I'm 7dpo (however I have had cramps that began 9days ago and haven't gone away, they were the most sharp and left sided 7days ago)

My nipples went from being tender and now my breasts are too, also have had clear/creamy CM pretty much every day but quite a bit more today..

fingers crossed it leads to BFP

Thankyou so much ladies. Its really hard to believe that this has happened again. Im fit, healthy, eat well, dont smoke, take vitamins, never get sick etc etc....I really really really just do not understand.

But anywayyyyy....hubby is getting the sperm check done this afternoon that we'd put off from last week.

Then not long til the gyno appt so will see what she says. Ive written up a sheet all about our history for her... I'm so crazy haha but it helps me to put it all out on paper.

Pal - I am so so sorry you’re going through this. Please look after yourself. Maybe you’ll get some more answers out of this if they do some more testing. I’m hoping you can figure it all out soon.

Bumbleflop - I’m the opposite, I love kids & teenagers but I’m not keen on babies! Its made this process difficult because I feel like the maternal drive to have a baby gets a lot of people through, whereas I’m dreading the first couple of years! I’m trying to visualise my future children 5yo and above to keep me going! Haha!

Crooked Frame - I’m in a similar situation, TTC #1 since Feb, but have only ovulated once in that time with the help of Letrozole (PCOS), and managed to fall pregnant! But that ended in MMC @ 7 weeks.

AFM, this is the first cycle after my D&C, started on 2.5 mg, nothing, then bumped up to 5 mg in the same cycle, still nothing. They’re now talking about injects but there’s no point as I’m going to NZ next week without DH. So I think I’ll be in the November TTC thread now… I will follow along though in the hope that its another lucky month!

Its just so frustrating because I know when I ovulate I fall pregnant easily, its just the ovulating part that I can’t get right! If only I dropped an egg every month!

Thanks everyone - turns out you can get your first BFP 5 days after missed AF!!!!

If anyone is symptoms spotting I had nothing that made me 100% confident I’m pregnant. I was a little tired but not fatigued, nauseous but I thought I was over exaggerating. No sore boobs or pains.. just some light throbbing in pelvis area? That being said before AF I’m always sore and have terrible period pain.

Anyway.. blood test next week to confirm! Good luck everyone! X

Contrats Northumberland!  That was me with #1 absolutely not symptoms of either AF or pregnancy lol.

I'm not sure exactly when I'm ovulating.  Yesterday morning I did the test which the lines were pretty closely matched and in the evening the test line was almost non-existent and then stronger again this morning. I think it may have been yesterday with O pain on the left side.

Anyway I'm month 15 and I'm pretty well over it.  Last month was the first I resigned to the fact it wont happen and then AF starts 2 days late with none of the usual symptoms, making me hopeful for those 2 days to just shatter it all and set the remains on fire. :(

PAL30 I'm the same 4 months with #1, I'm fit and relatively healthy, don't smoke, cut back on alcohol to almost nothing other than occasional weekend, vitamins, rarely sick. I've done all these tests with no possible cause for the infertility, only thing left is to test for endometriosis.

Furbaby- haha that’s funny! Hopefully DH will be fully into the baby stage and will take the lead until they get bigger ;)

DiamondKat- I hear ya...my brown spotting has now stopped and I’m 1-2days late...I refuse to test as I know my body is just playing with me. Try the dual hormone clearblue ovulation tests to get a good idea of when you ovulate..it’s fairly foolproof and temping is handy but quite annoying to do.

Hey ladies, I’ve been quiet for a while. Still a few familiar faces in here (unfortunately). It’s month 20 (I think?) ttc #2 and I’m weeeelll over it. I’ve started selling/chucking baby stuff now that DS is 3.5. Losing hope a little as will not try IVF or anything for #2. I had my first appointment with a naturopath this week and she has started me on a pre natal vitamin (I wasn’t taking one, silly really) and magnesium powder (for general wellness). Also wants me start on vitex which I think I will in two weeks when I see her again. I finally also went for day 21 bloods so need to make a follow up in a few days. Naturopath has also requested more bloods and might look at getting DH a sperm analysis and some bloods as well.

This cycle I’m Day 24 and expecting af in the next few days if I estimated O correctly. Did a hpt last night and bfn, only 10dpo but only got one bd so don’t think it’s likely this month.

Good luck to everyone.

Pal, so sorry for your loss xx
