Getting in early! Good luck ladies, I hope this is you're lucky month!

My first 2ww is finally over now waiting for my bt results. I did POAS last night and that was negative so I’m expecting a bfn. Maybe next month!

Oh Stimstar I'm sorry to hear that.  Do you think it was just too early to show on the POAS?

Thanks Joany, I was hoping so but my bt came back negative. Even though I was expecting it, it still hurts doesn’t it!! We still have our two on ice so I will do a frozen transfer in September apparently.

I'm so sorry Stimstar and yes still definitely hurts.  I remember AF had arrived but I still "hoped" that possibly I was still pregnant. Hoping September is your month xx

Just wanted to say...I've only ever stalked this board so I'm a newbie here.  I am today 7pt with a 5 day frostie...sorry i couldn't remember the abbreviation hahahahaha so I know this one isn't a sticker as i have all the symptoms of getting AF but my BT is on Wed 15th so I just waiting waiting waiting...feels like for the last 5 years or so that is all i have been doing hahahaha but I am sure it will get easier the further I go.  Well really I only have one frostie left so I will not be going much further :)  Anywho I am babbling because I am quietly loosing my mind. Hope everyone is well and they have lots of luck xo

Hi trying again, I hope you are wrong and AF is not going to come. Are you going to test before the official BT?

I have just started the dreaded wait myself, BT is not until Monday 20th. In the last two cycles, AF came before the BT so I haven't had much luck so far.

Hi MsHopeful - I POAS yesterday and it was a big fat NEG!!!  I don't know why i do it to myself. you would think after so many NO's you would get used to it and just wait hahahahaha I am just going to wait now.  I really do despise the TWW. Of all the drugs and drama's we have to go through at times why on why cant we find out straight away hahahaha as you can tell I am a little down.  I am usually quite an upbeat positive happy person but I am just so unhappy this time around.  It might be just getting to much for me now I think. Ah well still going to try and keep positive and thing happy thoughts for you because I know you will have a good outcome :)

Hello ladies

Stim Star- I am sorry. It still hurts to have it confirmed. I hope next month is your month.

Hopeful - how are you tracking?

Trying- good luck today. I hope you just had a late implementation and you will get your BFP today. 6dp5dt could still be to early!

AFM- I am currently 6dp5dt. I tested 2 days ago (afternoon) and it was a BFN. I am now terrified to try again because, like you trying, it is easier to convince yourself that 4dp5dt is to early but harder when you get closer to a week post transfer.

Btw trying- I don’t think you ever get used to a bfn. They are devistating. We all are praying that this one will be a BFP and the roller coaster can stop!!!

Hey Aardvark2016 - I POAS on Sat and Sun and they were both BFN...I seriously don't know why I did it this round.  I have actually never done it before.  I just really needed to know.  Since Saturday I have been getting all the symptoms of AF arriving which is kind of a bummer.  I only have one more go after this one and I don't even know how I am going to do another one but hopefully it will all be good :)  I have got the clinic to call my husband with the results today as it is just something that I just can not handle at the moment.  But i will let you know as soon as i know :)

Hi trying again, how did you go today? Really hope you got some good news.

I am the same with wanting the clinic to call my DH, I have every symptom of AF coming and I am not even going to POAS because I know it didn't work. I am going to ask to have the BT earlier than Monday 20th as I always get AF exactly 14 days after EPU which will be Friday. I am 7dp5dt today.

Aarvark, hope you are coping well! This last week is definitely the hardest.

Hey MsHopeful18 and Aarvark - nope it was a BFN :(  I knew it was but i cant believe how upset I am.  I am sorting myself out so that my last transfer we will go out with a bang.  My DH loves me so much and said that I should do what I think will help so I have booked my acupuncture appointments for twice a week and I have booked into a body stress solutions place once a week and I am going a a nice diet but not one that stops me from eating everything that I like.  I have put on so much weight lately.  I have also asked my FC if I can do a method that I have found that I know that works (it was how I got my little boy 3 years ago) and I am hoping that they will be ok with it.  Only down side is i have to take dragons tears (Synarel) again :( but if it works i cant see it being a problem :)

Good luck everyone...my fingers are crossed for you all and i am throwing all my baby dust at you xoxo

Trying- I am so so sorry. I hope the next transfer yields better results. I have never used syranel so I don’t know much about it but I am sure most things are worth the result of a beautiful baby.

Hopeful- how are you going? Have you changed your blood test time? What makes you so sure it hasn’t worked?

I am also feeling like Af is about to turn up but I am still hopeful that the cramps are a good sign and not a bad one. No spotting yet...

Trying: I am so sorry, this is really the worst process. I really hope next time is THE one for you.

Aardvark: I really hope your cramps are a good sign! Are you going to test again or wait for the bloods?

I couldn't stop myself and just POAS and it was a stark BFN. I knew it would be because I have all the usual pain and watery discharge (sorry for the tmi) I always get a day before AF plus a bit of spotting. Still so upsetting. This was my third round and I never get anything to freeze so really don't know where to from here. It's 8dp5dt so sadly is definitely out for me :(

Mrs hopeful. I am so sorry. It is the absolute pits. Have you brought your bt forward? Otherwise o hope for a miracle on Monday.

#17 MsHopeful18

Sadly I had the BT yesterday and it was a BFN. So distressing, and really unsure where to from here. This is the first time my AF was late so I had a little hope. It must just be delayed from the crinone.

How are you going? I hope you get some positive news on Monday.

Hi all,

So sorry to hear the news from those of you with a bfn. It’s heartbreaking and all we can do is keep going and try again because there is always hope.

I’m on my 2nd 2ww after 3 cycles, have only had 2 embryos make it. Never get anything to freeze. Low ovarian reserve/low responder and 37 yrs old.

I did a hpt and it’s showing positive. However I’m not sure as I did a Pregnyl 10000 trigger 15 days ago.
I tested yesterday and today and the line appears darker today. Very strong just like the control line. Has anyone had lines this dark 15 days after 10000 trigger???

Still so nervous and my blood test in 2 days.

The pic shows the hpt. Top one is 14 days and bottom 15.

Lindai - I wouldn’t imagine the trigger would still be in your system after 15 days but I’ve never asked the question.  That looks like a very strong second line to me which is exciting!!  Do you mind sharing what kind of protocol you were on this cycle? I have poor quality eggs and never get any to freeze either. Good luck! Fingers crossed for you x

Hi Joany,

All have been FSH Antagonist

Ivf 1
250 bemfola
Orgalutran around day 8
Ovidrel trigger
2 eggs - none made it to day 5

Ivf 2
Shot of Elonva day 3
Bemfola 250 for 3 days starting day 3
Benfola 450 after
Orgalutran aswell day 8
Ovidrel and Lucrine Triggers
10 eggs, 6 fertilised, 1 embryo on day 5
Transfer BFN

Ivf 3
Elonva shot day 3
Bemfola 250 4 days
Bemfola 450 after
Pregnyl 10000 and Lucrine triggers
5 eggs, 1 fertilised, 1 day 5 embryo graded 4AA transfered
Blood test tomorrow!

The second cycle I did acupuncture and I thought that could be a reason i got the most eggs?? Or it could have been that i did a back to back stim cycle? I’ve heard that can have benefits. Who knows.

However I didn’t do acupuncture for cycle 3 as it doesn’t relax me and I didn’t enjoy it. I believe the pregnyl could have really helped my embryo become better quality but again who knows could just be luck of the draw. I also had a husteroscopy/scrape a month before this cycle to help embryo stick.

What was your last protocol??

Hi Lindai,

Thank you for sharing, what a tough journey you've had so far.

Mine have also been FSH Antagonist but with Gonal F and Cetrotide.

I was very very fortunate to fall round one of IVF in 2015 and have DS who is almost 3 but having number 2 has been rather difficult.

350 Gonal F
3 eggs none fertilise

350 Gonal F
7 eggs, 2 make it to day 5, transfer best one other didn't grow BFN

350 Gonal F and added Luveris this round to see if it helped egg quality but at day 7 scan had a dominant follicle so we triggered and tried naturally BFN.

I've also tried acupuncture but similar to you, the last few appointments I was over it.  I'm having about 15 tablets a day of supplements from my naturopath and we'll probably try IVF again in October.

Good luck for tomorrow, we really need some positive news in here!

Hey Joany,

What trigger are you using? Also I believe the Elonva on the day starting injections can really give a starting boost to help quality. I’m very happy with my specialist trying these protocols. I see Dr Rachael Knight at melb Ivf if you are in Melbourne and want a second opinion.

My bloods came back BFP! First time I’ve ever been pregnant so I’m over the moon but also cautious that it’s still so early.  So the strong positive hpt were not from triggers but indeed my embryo growing strong.

FingersCrossed - There is no way out of it, we all go insane!!!! Lol
What was your first cycle like? Did you get anything to freeze? Well done on making it to a transfer. One step at a time. Goodluck!

Lindai - first cycle was ok, not as bad as i thought, but i was stimming for 18 days as we started on a low dose then increased. so it was CD20 by the time i got to collection, and I was pretty over it by then.

Nothing to freeze unfortunately :(
