It took me ages to find the new thread today!

Ck- I am so sorry to hear about your bad timing. That is rubbish luck.

Stim Star- welcome. I hope they get the doses right for you next time.

Good luck today MrsP

Maufie- are you going to test today? Or hold out til Monday???

I’m going to hold out til Monday aadvark, for two reasons, the biggest one is I want to enjoy most of the weekend with hope (even false hope!) and the second is so silly, but I like the numbers 11 and 6 so the 11th/June seems like a happy date to me... crazy the things we tell ourselves hey! Xo

Hehehe! Maufie I totally understand. I do exactly the same thing. Enjoy the weekend and fx for a great result on Monday.

Thanks ladies! 1 very pretty looking embie on board. Haven’t seen my FS smile that much in a long time. Desperately hoping this is the one!

Well done for being strong maufie! Have you got something nice planned to keep you busy over the weekend?

How’s things with you Aardvark?

Yay MrsP- such good news!! I hope this is the one too.

Thanks for asking after me. I am ok. Still just waiting. I didn’t get the genetic testing results today so I think that we won’t hear until next week- probably Tuesday or Wednesday. DH is traveling for work all next week so hopefully I get great news because I really don’t want to handle bad news when I am on my own.

Good luck MrsP, when will you be testing?

Hope you get your results this week aardvark, how many embryos did you have tested?

Good to hear from you MrsP2014, hope you manage to avoid ohss this time, will you be doing a fresh transfer this cycle?

AFM - second day of stims using a slightly higher dose of gonal than my previous cycles. Also booked in to see an asherman's specialist next week to see if we can boost my lining for my next transfer.

Hi MrsP2014 - hope you are feeling better - must be pretty tough being sick and stimming at the same time! Best of luck for your EPU on Tuesday.

Theia - is the asherman's specialist part of your clinic? that sounds promising

Aardvark - Hope you get to hear the results soon. All the waiting and waiting. And hope you had a great long weekend and did some things to take your mind off it!

MrsP - congrats for being PUPO! wishing you a stress free 2 weeks . How long have you been doing acupuncture for? Did you have a full hour before and after transfer?

AFM - just waiting to O , should happen in a couple of days since my cycles are like clockwork since being on letrozole . So nice to know when it's going to happen!

I've got exams this week which are a great distraction and next month I will be busy at a course every weekend in July.
So hopefully I will get my BFP or it will be IVF time before I know it.

We have the orientation appointment next week which I can't wait for because I have so many questions!

#13 Mrs Pemberley

Posted 11 June 2018 - 08:36 PM

Hope the genetic results come for you tomorrow Aardvark! And that it’s great news xx

MrsP2014 - sounds like your stim cycle has been going well! Good luck for a successful and OHSS-free EPU tomorrow xx

Theia - I don’t know much about Asherman’s. Is that what’s causing the issues with your lining? Hope the specialist can give you some great options.

FingersCrossed - this is my first month of acupuncture. I did 2 sessions in the lead up to FET and then pre and post transfer. I’ve got another one later this week to assist with implantation. It’s nice having an hour of relaxation a week. Sounds like you’ve got some good plans to keep you busy in the next few months. Good luck with your exams!

Posted 12 June 2018 - 09:10 AM

Good luck today MrsP2014!

FingersCrossed - the ashermans specialist is from a different clinic but is apparently the person to see for lining issues. My fs discussed my case with him and then referred me. Good luck with orientation this week, would be interested in hearing any info you gather, but hopeful that you get a bfp this month and avoid ivf altogether!

MrsP - I don't have any scarring in my uterus so I think technically that rules out ashermans but they believe the 4 d&cs damaged the basal layer of my lining leading to my issues. Will be curious to hear what the specialist thinks. Hope the acupuncture does the trick for you this month!

Mrsp2014- how did the everything go today? I hope you got good numbers and no OHSS!!!

Theia- I am pleased there is an option to try to improve your lining. Fx it works well

Fingers crossed- good luck in your exams. It is good to be busy with some thing else. I struggle most in the quiet times.

MrsP- how is the tww? Are you going to test early??

Maufie- did you POAS yesterday? Was it good news???

Sorry if I have missed anyone.

AFM- still just waiting. We had three embryos tested but no news yet. They do tend to call in the afternoon with the genetic testing results so hopefully some good news will come soon.

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and stayed warm and dry!!!

Hi everyone :) thanks for checking in Aardvark- sadly it was a bfn on frer yesterday at 9dp5dt :( so I’m well prepared to get a negative beta tomorrow.

Going to take some time off ivf and try our second full stim cycle in about October/November.

Hope you get fabulous pgd results soon!

And hope all went well for your EPU mrsp2014 :)

Maufie- I am so sorry. That is so hard. Enjoy the few months off.

I am still waiting for results. I thought I would get them today but it is not looking promising. It is making me anxious that there is a problem with the testing.

Posted 12 June 2018 - 03:39 PM

Sorry this wasn't your month maufie, it sucks going in for a test knowing it will be a negative :( What are next steps for you?

How long have you been waiting for results aardvark? Hope you hear soon.

Hi Ladies,  I'm sorry I'm so slack at posting, I don't have much opportunity to jump on the laptop but I read even if I don't have a chance to post.

Theia it's great that there's something that can help with your lining.  I hope he has an answer for you and your bfp is that much closer.

Mrsp2014 - how did you go?

Maufie, I'm sorry to hear that this wasn't your month.  Do you have any plans for your ivf break?

Aardvark, I hope you hear from them asap.  How frustrating!

MrsP - congratulations of being PUPO!!  How exciting.

AFM - we ended up doing a FET this cycle, which worked out well since I ovulated on the weekend and my FS doesn't do weekend pick ups.  Am 5dp5dt and I've got another pregnyl shot on Thursday.  Must say that I'm not feeling much of anything this cycle, so not overly hopeful even though my FS has said that my age is the main problem and this embryo is from five years ago.  Kind of feels like we put a lot of hope into this one and it's just not going to happen :(

Hi ladies. I've been lurking around for a while and thought it might be time to step up. I'm gearing up to start my first IVF round shortly, just waiting on karyotype testing to come back before we can book in a start date. My partner and I are both 34 and TTC #1, skipping straight to IVF with PGD due to a genetic issue I don't want to pass on. It's been very helpful already following these forums to get a better idea of the whole process and I look forward to sharing the (hopefully short) journey with you all

Welcome Jelly! Wishing you all the best luck for your cycle and hope your journey in here is short :) xo

Thanks for the kind words ladies, AF arrived for me so getting my BT this morning seemed very pointless lol. Not quite sure about next steps but have a FS appointment next week and we will likely do our second stim cycle after our trip to the USA (booked many months ago!) in September. I’ll definitely hang around here to support you all! Xo
