We like Ethan, but it’s somehow only 90% right!
What else could we consider?
Not starting with C, L, T, J or W.
Others we like but that aren’t really an option for a bunch of reasons are Asher, Cameron, Alexander, James.

Hmmm not so much looking for sound alikes (eg Nathan, Evan, Mason, Owen), more names that have a similar feel? Like a bit contemporary but not out there?

Finn, Elliot, Lucas.
What do you think about action/last names as first names? Ryder, Hunter etc?

Emmett and Everett have a similar feel to me, not just the initial but that sort of relaxed neither crusty old nor entirely new modern.
Something like Griffin also works for that for me. Doesn't feel forced.

I also agree with pp mentioned above Everett or Emmett

Interesting that Quinn has been suggested a couple of times- that’s actually top of the list for a girl at the moment!
Emmett feels a bit “BBC period drama” for some reason... maybe a half remembered show from years ago?!
