i need help with baby girl names.
we already have a daughter Scarlett. and our last name begins with  'D'

we have a list of about 10 names but our top two are

Willa Belle

and

Everly Mae

I just dont know what to do... i prefer Willa and hubby prefers Everly... im scared its too similar to my name which is Emily

I agree Emily and Everly are very similar. Personally I prefer Willow to Willa. Or maybe Eva Mae?

I'm not sure either go well with Scarlett

maybe willow, Eva or Evelyn, Evaline, Evalina

Genevieve, Vivienne, Olivene

I love the name Everly. I do think it’s a bit close to Emily. I like lots of names ending in “lee” but probably won’t get to use them as my name ends in it.

I prefer Willow to Willa. I’d probably go with Willow Mae. Not a fan of Belle.

Everly is too close to your name. I’d go with Willa but it isn’t as nice as Scarlett, in my opinion. Not sure what to suggest as our naming styles are different. Miranda would fit nicely.

oh I like Miranda, what about Celeste, Beatrice, Jacinta, Jocelyn, Josephine, Audrey, Phoebe,  Rosalie, Bronte, Lillian, Rosalind, Laurel, Lauren, Meredith, Adeline, Arabella, Claire, Lucinda, Natalie, Matilda, Tallulah, Portia, Leticia,Vanessa, Victoria, Veronica

I dont think Evelyn is too popular

Stella (too close to scarlett??) - yes, I wouldnt have 2 S names
Billie
Blair
Penelope - nice
Lola - ok
Chloe - nice
Ivy (love this one but hubby isnt a fan at all unfortunately) - ok
Bonnie - ok
Mischa

Belle is ok,  just with the right first name

Willa Belle comes across as “Will a bell “ so I’d can that idea. Not a fan of Everly, much prefer Evelyn.

That’s a good list. I really like Penelope and Bonnie or Stella would be nice too. Pity he’s not on board with Ivy! But anyway you’ve got some fabulous choices there.

Out of those I'd go with Penelope.

Mischa to me is a cat's name (apologies to any Mischa's reading)

Actually I know four Penelope’s, three get called Penny and one Nell.

So I don’t see the point of that name to be honest!

Everly is beautiful but unusable with an Emily in the family IMO, so why not bump to middle?

Willa Everly
Blair Everly
Stella Everly

The Scarlett I know has a Phoebe for a sister. I quite like that combo.

What about Adele? Sort of references the “Belle” but a bit less common?
