Hi, we are expecting our first baby boy and would love help with a boys name.

Our daughters are Abigail and Juliette.

I love both Jacob and Sebastian. Which one do you prefer?

Husbands name starts with a ‘J’ so I don’t know if having 3 ‘J’ names would be an issue.

Or any other suggestions would be great!

Thank you!

UPDATE: It looks like we no longer are going with Jacob or Sebastian. Husband really doesn’t like Sebastian. The latest name we both love is:
Zachariah (Zach as a nickname) This is definitely our number 1.
I quite like Elijah too. Nickname Eli (pronounced eee-lie)
What do you think lovely EB mums?

Latest UPDATE: 10 days till I am induced and we still are deciding on a name. Zachariah and Elijah is out. Name options are:
What do you ladies think? Thank you 🙏

Matthew came to mind. I personally wouldn't have initials the same if I could help it. I share a first initial with my brother and my two cousins did too. It was sonetimes confusing when mail for FirstInitial Lastname came. That said there are heaps of families who have Name Jnr so they cope!

Sebastian. Its such a beautiful name. I think it matches with the other French names your daughters have.

Other names that could work if you're still thinking?

I have a 14yo Sebastian so I'm quite biased  However I do genuinely think it goes well with your daughters' names :)

Thank you. Loving your suggestions. I tend to like Hebrew names and French or Latin names.
I love Nathanial, Noah and Gabriel but husband doesn’t.
Husband loves Jacob but I think Sebastian is gorgeous. I just have to convince him!

Abigail and Juliette are beautiful. Sebastien would be my choice too, only because of the 3 J's. I love Jacob as well.
Benedict, Lucien, Matthias & Patrick I like  also with the girl's names.

Sebastian is perfect with your girls' names!

Some other good suggestions already, another one I think would go well is Dominic.

I had Abigail on my girls list but had 3 boys. My boys are:

PS I like both the names you have, Sebastian is probably a bit long for me and would get shortened.

I thought Sebastian before I opened the thread and then saw it was one of your options. Sebastian for sure. Gorgeous name.

Both Sebastian and Jacob are lovely names and both go with your girls names.

Personally, I am not a fan of Sebastian. All the boys I know who have that name have it shortened to Seb and Sebby/Sebbie, both of which sound weak/ineffectual to me.

I like Jacob

I think Sebastian goes best with Abigail & Juliette. Some more suggestions:

Abigail, Juliette & Nathaniel
Abigail, Juliette & Greyson
Abigail, Juliette & Quentin
Abigail, Juliette & Frederick
