I am craving Asian food especially Thai, never ate it before in large quantities, coriander is divine and is hitting all the spots and it is not leaving me sick!
Cooking meat in the pan no matter what is leaving me a little green around the gills.

Tired all the time too.

Zeldazonk, I hope the spotting and cramping has cleared up.  Do definitely get checked out again if you get worried, otherwise hugs for the long wait - it is definitely tough.  Morning sickness kicking in does sound encouraging though xx

Woof woof - I am exhausted, but my OH is a personal trainer, so I haven't been able to dodge my weights sessions 🙄😂. We work out every evening and the kids love hanging with their mates in the gym crèche, so I have no good excuse not to go; thankfully I am feeling fairly good so far.  I was really sick with the other kids, so not sure if that makes me thankful or nervous.   I think whatever your body will tolerate foodwise is fine Hun... there's plenty of time to get things back on track ☺️ xx

hi ladies,

a quick update from me.

i think im only late 4 weeks, or just 5 weeks today.
After having mixed opinions on if my HCG was ok, i got an update and all looked good.

Tuesday last week - 62
Thursday - 162
wednesday - 2455

so it has gone up a substantial amount. yay! i was so nervous because im feeling pretty good, other than a tad tired.

I don't have my scan until march 20th so a bit of time to wait!

How are you going lunarlove and zeldazonk ? I hope the spotting has subsided.

Great results ohhello!

Opethmum, totally feel you on the Asian food! I've been craving sweet and sour pork work fried rice so bad. No Chinese takeaway in town though dammit!

Afm, had my first ob appointment yesterday and everything was looking great. Bub was measuring just over 9 weeks, right in track and had a great hb and wriggling around. So very relieved as this is right when we lost our pregnancy last September. My new ob seems really nice so I'm pretty happy with my decision to change to this ob because he scans in office lol

I hope everyone else is doing great too. Sorry if I missed anyone!

Hooray for great news Ohhhello and Stace - that is awesome to hear ☺️☺️

I had a dating scan today, and it was measuring a week behind.  Not that I'm sure of my dates or the length of my cycle.  So I was guesstimated at 7weeks 1 day, but it measured a sac and yolk with a little 'bub' visible at exactly 6 weeks, and  no visible heartbeat.   So we're in limbo until I get another scan I guess 😕

Great news ohhhhello and stace_wa!

I hope you are ok MakingHappiness. The limbo feeling is  so stressful. When is your next scan? Fingers crossed you see a nice healthy heartbeat soon.

I haven't had anymore spotting. Morning sickness kicked in over the last couple of days. The nausea was pretty extreme today! I feel rotten but weirdly it makes me feel a bit less anxious.

My DH also said today if I really am that worried I should have another scan. I have booked one for next Friday (I should be 7+2). It will be 10 days after the last scan. I am really hoping to see a heart beat this time!

zeldazonk
Oh I hope next scan gives you peace & nice strong heartbeat! I'll have first scan next Wed (6w6d) and I'm a bit worried it's a bit too early for heartbeat.

stace_wa
Wonderful news!

ohhhhhhello
Sounds great! I agree about the wait, so frustrating. Hope we all ease a bit after w12.

I'm feeling so nauseous. Strange feeling, don't remember it from previous pregnancies. Though no morning sickness.

Hi Ladies,

I am a longtime lurker here, just posting for the first time!

I am due 29 October, first baby, had blood tests this morning, hoping to get results soon!

Best wishes to all for a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Welcome RoseB!

I have woken up feeling really anxious. Not seeing a fetal pole or heartbeat at my last scan has freaked me out. Friday can't come soon enough.

I am trying to reassure myself that:

* my hcg levels at 3+5 and 4 were good
* my progesterone level was good
* the OB who did my scan said that the size and shape of the sac was perfect for my gestation and that it was probably just a day or two too soon to see the heartbeat. The yolk sac was visible.
* I have lots of symptoms which seem to be getting worse (esp morning sickness)

I think it is going to be a LONG week. I just want to see that heartbeat flickering away. I know it won't stop my anxiety altogether but it will make me feel so much better.

Big hugs Zeldazonk, it really is almost impossible not to scrutinise everything when you're left in limbo like this xx. I'm glad you have a scan at the end of the week to help ease your mind.

I'm not sure when my next scan will be.  They said it will take 48 hours for my dr to get the report, then the general 10-14 days to rescan.  So I will probably try to book it in on the 16th so my OH can come along.   I have always been put back in dates with my other three, but I don't remember having dating scans with my DD's... though they are 8 and nearly 10 so there's a chance I've forgotten 😜😂. Then I went through this with DS... with the positive outcome obviously ☺️  I feel just as anxious and impatient this time around though.

Possum - hope you find something to help ease the nausea, such a yukko feeling.

Congratulations RoseB ✨

Zeldazonk- I had an early scan due to bleeding and they could only see a sack and yolk thing. I then wasn’t happy because they only did an abdo scan so I went to a guy who specialises in women’s ultrasounds and he was able to pick up a baby and HB- the previous guy had told me there was neither and also had measured me later than I was. I guess this long rambling story is to make sure you go somewhere decent as I think the specialised equipment can help.

I had a hell of a day yesterday. Arrived home from school pick up, went to the toilet and had LOADS of blood every time I wiped. Freaking out and totally sure I had lost the baby I rang my ultrasound place and they squeezed me in and saw me even without a referral. Long story short baby is ok and measuring well (9.4 weeks) and he could see a clot which was the cause of the bleed. Bloody hell it was scary. Just wanted to share incase anyone else has a scare and thinks it’s all over.

Hi ladies!
I've been reading along for a while. I joined the Nov group as my edd is 3 Nov, however it will be a cs and my ob does those around 37-38w, so it will be an October baby. I hope you don't mind me joining in
I'm 5+2 today and have just booked an appointment with my ob for 19th so am eagerly awaiting that.... No real symptoms yet apart from some minor cramping, and cravings for steak(!) but the nausea set in at 6w last time, so I probably have that to look forward to again really soon.
I have a DS who is 2. I had a cp in October last year, so just crossing my fingers for a sticky baby this time.
Nice to meet you all and here's to lots of uneventful pregnancies!

Hi ladies, I hope you are all doing better than me. Saw the OB today who said miscarriage is likely, no heartbeat but give it another week to be sure. Most likely miscarriage in the next two weeks will occur. I’m feeling bummed out but ok.

Hi all,

First time poster here. Myself and my husband will be welcoming our first child possibly on the 30th October or around that date, so it could even be a November baby. I found out I was pregnant on the 23rd February and had bloods and an ultrasound last week to confirm it.

I also have factor five leiden a gene mutation from my mothers side of the family. But I also suffered from 2 blood clots last June that went through both my heart and lungs so I am now on Clexane injections until after baby is born. I also found out from my blood results that I have really low iron levels so I am now taking supplements. Other than that everything looks perfect. Will schedule another scan at 9-10weeks so we can hear the heartbeat.

Im really Sorry Ocean Waves,

So Ive been in hospital with gall stones, after a stressful time of trying to decide weather to let them take my gall bladder out or not, I finally decided i wanted to try and wait till end of pregnancy.  The risk are just to high for a miscarriage for me.  And  finally had a surgeon that agreed so they are watching me for now and I am now having to watch everything I eat so not to set off an attack,  Extremely stressful.

I too have started to bleed again.  Only when I wipe, not enough to make it to underwear.  It started around 5.5wks and comes and goes.  I wish I new what was causing it, very stressful. I have my second scan on Thursday after a earlier one at 5.5 and they could only see the sac.  Praying I see a happy little baby in there with a healthy heart beat on Thursday.

Nat - Oh you poor thing, what a tough decision 😣  I hope you stay well, and I hope you have a really positive scan come Thursday.  Such a hard wait xxx

I'm so sorry ocean waves :( hugs for you.

Still here Stace lol. Sorry I haven't been updating. Went for my first scan yesterday (bedside with obgyn) and she did an abdominal and saw the gestational sac and maybe a white shadow of what the yolk/bub would be. Did an internal and could only see the gestational sac but measuring ahead at 6w5d (I was 6w3d yesterday) but nothing inside. She looked for a while, I went to the bathroom, checked again, still the same. So she called the ultrasound place across the road and got me in immediately to check it out. She said don't worry I'm pretty sure there will be something and it's probably just my less sensitive ultrasound machine. So walked over, the tech did an abdominal ultrasound and found the yolk, baby, and flickering little heartbeat straight away. Heart beat 113 beats per minute. All good. So a good 15 minutes of stress but all ok. Going back in a week to follow up with her.

Welcome newbies and good luck to those waiting for results and scans.

Have been feeling much sicker this time than with my son. Started at 7 weeks with my son but this time started at 5 weeks and it's just all day long. I've been taking 2 maxalon a day just to eat. No spewing yet lol. Just this horrible feeling. Bring on 14 weeks already.

Oh ocean waves sending you lots of virtual support!

Welcome everyone that’s joined!

Oh lunar love how scary!! I remember with my first child at about 14 weeks she couldn’t find a heart beat so I had an ultrasound and there was one crazy kid inside lol!! So glad it’s all good for you too!

I’m the same with morning sickness! Started around 6 weeks but since hitting 7 weeks I feel violently ill. So sick all day and today I am already up to bowl greeting number 5 🤢. Definitely bring on week 14!!!

Have my dating scan tomorrow. So excited/nervous. Hope all is good inside for my little spud!

Had my first ultrasound today. All looking good, we've  seen the sack, the baby and it's heartbeat. Measures about 9mm at 7w, though they didn't check heart beats per minute.
