How are you, Ange? How is the new parish? Is it wrong that whenever I eat a hot cross bun, I think of you and all that is associated with and needs to be done by you for Easter?

Hello, LL!

I'm alright, at the moment.  DD starting a new school last week was a little rough, but I think she's going to be fine.

The new parish is getting interesting.  I've been here six months, and it's long enough for them to start to drop the mask and let me see what's really going on for people here.  I have my work cut out for me, but if I can navigate the next year or so well, we might be in a much healthier place by then, than we are now.

It's only wrong that you think of me but we hardly ever connect.

How are you going?  How's the new job?  Not so new any more, really...

So, Ange, if, as you said once, Lent is a time of forging a stronger relationship with God rather than of undertaking penance, I could eat more hot cross buns if in addition to thinking about you, I connected more frequently with you (and went back to church)? Our church is in a bad state since our head priest was promoted to a bishop (my terminology may be flawed here). I love that you are bringing new life to your parish.

Similar to your daughter starting at a new school, mine did also. I am still getting used to her being in Year 10.

Ermm, LL, I'm sure I don't have to point out that strengthening your relationship with me is not the same as strengthening your relationship with God.

You should do both!

I had a Friday night you could plausibly have turned into an episode of the Vicar of Dibley.

Probably shouldn't post too much detail, but let's just say I think I now need some legal advice.

Hey squeeks.

Hope you've got some advice Ange.

Went to the park again today, not really my favourite thing to do with three kids solo.

The end of the weekend comes around far too fast....

Mister is on night shift tonight so he's in bed while I have dinner cooking. Having some major neck issues so most of my plans for this weekend went out the window.
