Has anyone had any recent experiences with Auburn Hospital in Sydney? Or is anyone planning to deliver there over the next few months?
I am at 14 weeks and trying to book in for my antenatal care - thought I was going to Westmead but apparently I'm out of area and they didn't let me know until I chased them up today.
I would be keen to hear from anyone (via PM) who can share their experience of Auburn, as it's a smaller hospital and I can't find much about it in the forums.
It would also be lovely to connect with mums in my area! I am due 13 July with my first.

I'm no help whatsoever but I was born there
Good luck with your delivery.

All I know is a friend was to go there but it’s a Low risk pregnancy only hospital. She was classified as high risk and went to Westmead instead.

I can't comment on the maternity section but I was a patient there 3.5 years ago as that is where the surgeon took my gallbladder, liver resection and a the cancer that was attached and despite it being a small hospital I received great care, the aminities were all new, I also knew a lady who used her mums address specifically because she preferred aurbun hospital

I’d love to hear if you receive any PMs as I have also been told this is my hospital I’ll need to deliver at.
