Hi I'm due in a matter of weeks and can't decide on a first name. Opinions and thoughts please. I like names that are a little unusual and not too common.

Or a combo of the above for a first n mn.

Thanks in advance.

I prefer Jaelen to Halen.
Ezra is OK too.

Ezra is the only one of the three that I think will age/date well.

Huxley/Halen seem very trendy and will date really quickly.

Halen is the name of one of my 20-something female cousins and it just sounds like a form of Hayley-meets-Helen to me.

I adore Ezra.

Huxley is appealing in some ways.

another vote for Ezra.

I'd imagine a Halen would get Helen quite a lot.
Huxley is ok. Similar ones that I like more are Ashby and Ripley.
Ezra is pretty cool, though I have known both male and female Ezra's.

Thank you for your thoughts. I love Ashby too!

Ezra I thought is becoming a bit popular atm so was more leaning towards the other two as I wanted a more uncommon name. I do love Ezra too tho so it's good to see ppls thoughts on all the names.

Rarer than Ezra:
Dara, Daragh

Similar but not sure how they compare in popularity:

Ezra is my favourite from your list. I don't know or like Halen, I'm afraid. How about Baxter or Oren?

Out of your list I would go with Ezra or Huxley, though I'm not particularly fond of any of them.

I only like Ezra. Huxley and Halen seem really trendy and likely to date quickly; I also don't like them.

Ezra. I so regret I don't have an Ezra.

I confess I don't understand the Ezra love.

Halen is my pick of your three options.

#20 Fluer

Another vote for Ezra. Very cool name.

OP just on your worry about Ezra being popular, it's probably being talked about more as an option, but that may not have translated to kids being named Ezra.

I'm not a fan of Ezra either.  And it's quite popular.

I'd choose Halen out of those.  Although I prefer Galen to Halen.

Huxley is OK.
