As there are a few of us moving on, I thought it timely to start a new thread.

O will happen next week for me. I'm going to hold off much later in the TWW for testing and I'm not even going to have a HPT in my house. As for symptom spotting this month, nothing will convince me until I see that double line. I drove myself crazy last cycle and I've promised myself that I'm going to be far more chilled.

If you see me getting crazy, shake me!

We're TTC #2. My husband's first. I've got one DD but I've been pregnant 3 times. It's been a long time though and I'm 36, he's 41! Not temping or using OPK cause I'm one of the lucky ones who gets very clear O signs. Just in case though we are BDing second daily and everyday during but the fertile window which starts Saturday.

Good luck for June. I feel like it's going to be a good month xx

I'll move on to this thread too.

TTC 1#, after a natural miscarriage at 7 weeks in March. Still heart broken.  I am 26 and DH 28.

I am only using opks as I too get very clear o signs. Will try to relax and not obsess about it. Good luck to everyone. I'm hoping for lots of SBFPs!!!

I can't believe it's June thread already. I'm peeved that my Dr made me wait 3 months after my rubella booster instead of 1 month...

Cycle 3 for me. If I can get my mojo back that'd be great because it's hard to conceive without BD!

Joining in here too.

I'm 36 (DH is 35), TTC #2 - this will be month 8.

Will be seeing a FS next week, my 25 day progesterone last month was quite low, so I guess I'm either not ovulating, or have a very short LP.

I guess June is probably unlikely for us too at this stage, but hopefully the FS will have some ideas for us that might work for July!

Koala - my GP just pointed out that my rubella serology wasn't great, but going on my history (I've had multiple MMR boosters because of this), she is assuming that I just don't seroconvert, so I'll just have to take the risk.

I was vaccinated back before DS so the immunity reduced in 3 years :-(

With your example as well, would it mean the immunity is potentially there but just not visible in serology?

Are you still actively TTC in between specialist visits?

I've had to get tested multiple times over the years because of working in overseas jobs, and every time I had low immunity for rubella (and often mumps as well). So then I would get a booster, re-check the immunity, and it would be fine for a short while.

But GP said there's no way to tell how quickly the immunity is dropping. She did say that there is 'some' immunity, just not as high as recommended.

I figured I'll discuss it further with the FS next week.

It is 14, which is 'low immunity', so it's not too bad I don't think.

We are still actively TTC, but I'm feeling like it's unlikely to happen at the moment - last month I only got EWCM 2 days prior to AF arriving - that can't be good!

I will join here as well!

Im 28 and my DH is 24. We are TTC #1. This month will be our first month of trying and the O will be here any day now. I have been using the Clear Blue digital tests and have had flashing smileys yesterday and this morning.

I'm hoping we all get BFP's in June! As someone who is trying for the first time this month, does anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks lovely ladies xo

I'm here too!! Finally got a true AF (haven't had one in like 10+ years!!) after having my daughter (she's 18 months old now) so can get fully into charting. Conceived first cycle off the pill for DD but did chart that cycle and used the clear blue digital ov tests.

Started vitex a month or so ago, not sure if it's helped bring in AF or it was just night weaning (I would say more the weaning than the vitex..).

Hi All.
First time posting! I've been following the threads for a few weeks now and it's comforting, exciting and frustrating (at the same time!) to see everyone go through this crazy roller-coaster waiting, symptom spotting and caving in to test early!
I'm TTC #1 and on third cycle.
O should happen this weekend. Came off BC (after 12 years) 4 months ago and average cycle is 29days - AF came back regular first month which was a relief! Due to be testing right before my and my DH birthdays in June (Week 1).

Hi All,

I am joining June!

Waiting for AF to arrive of skipping last month because of bloody Rubella!

I also have had multiple MMR boasters as an adult...

This month I will be taking Clomid and Progesterone pessaries, along with my natural therapies (including high dosses of liquid Vitex)

I think i am not going to temp and just follow the FS instructions to the letter!

Hi ladies,

I am joining June too! Only on CD2 today, so should O in a couple of weeks and will be testing end of June. We have been "trying but not trying" since October last year while I have been working to balance my crazy out of whack hormones, I have only had 4 longggg cycles in that time due to post-pill PCOS (came off the pill 12 months ago after being on it for 10 yrs).

Finally my last cycle was only 31 days, shortest it has been (YAY) and I actually feel like all my hard work with the naturopath has now paid off, I have really worked on my diet, exercise, reducing stress/meditation/yoga and taking the right supplements/herbs for me and finally getting all that build up of synthetic hormones out of my system after putting it in my body for 10 years and I actually feel like it has worked now so I am feeling positive coming into this cycle. Through all this I feel like I finally understand my body and being able to tell when I am fertile. With crazy long cycles (44-77 days) DH and I seemed to miss O every damn cycle until the last one, so this feels like it is only cycle 2 of TTC and actually having a chance.

We are both 26 and living in remote WA :)

Good-luck to everyone this month! xx

Hi ladies,

Welcome to the new ppl and friends from last month :) I'm jumping in at CD 13.... we were meant to be having a month off (after 12 months ttc) and I was really enjoying not tracking my cycle, not taking twice daily Chinese herbs and having a few drinks last weekend. Then at the initial appt with FS yesterday realised I was on day 12 and decided to BD last night so I will be testing on the 3rd or 4th of June. So we'll see what happens - feeling a lot happier after our appt and if it's BFN then we can get started with an assessment cycle. Good luck to all and sending lots of lucky vibes xx

Hi All, joining in.

TTC#1 - this will be month 16 (yes, 16 :no2: ). Booked in for a hycosy (and something else I can't remember) on Thursday, and DH for a SA, so hopefully we will get some answers soon.

Have just started using OPK last month, so hoping this will help things as well. Going to try to relax though and definitely NOT symptom spot like I did this last month. Currently only CD2, so a while to go, usually around a 30 day cycle.

Hi everyone,
I'll move over from May as well. Trying to conceive bub #2. Our DD is 15 months old. I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in January. This is our 3rd month of TTC after the miscarriage.

Cycle day 10 today, so starting the process of BD every second day and testing with OPK. I usually ovulate day 18, so just covering bases and starting the BD early in the cycle.

Good luck everyone!!

Hi all. I have moved over from last month. Ttc #1 and its second month trying. Going to bd more this month 😆 going to try every other day (ambitious). Just off my period today. Due to o 30th may. I have regular 27-29 cycles. Last month i was a little earlier and i recon i missed o somehow? Hoping this month goes well for everyone!good luck!

I am feeling good this cycle. We are managing to BD A LOT lol and enjoying it! DH got really stressed about it all last month and this month it's fun and not a chore. Three more days of doing it everyday and I think we'd have given it our best shot! Pity I'm at a workshop in Brisbane for 3 days which means leaving home early and getting home late. We'll just have to do it early or late at night 😄

Any advice on BD and performance issues with your partner? I am not sure whether to let him know when the 'big' week will be, or just do my thing. Last month I think he felt the pressure, but I wonder if it would be better if he knew when the key time will be, or not tell him so he doesn't feel any pressure.

#19 ~9YearsLater

Posted 21 May 2017 - 07:13 PM

I told my husband let's do it every second day and just do it to connect and enjoy each other rather than for 'conception'. He has been more than obliging and we've actually been doing it more than second daily. He does know that we are now in the fertile time but because we're enjoying each other at the moment, it doesn't matter so he doesn't feel like there's pressure to perform. Don't know if that's helpful for you. Good luck x

I honestly don't think my husband has the stamina to be able to go that often, he isn't a spring chicken anymore! He also does a fair bit of exercise so I think that tires him out a fair bit. I think I will give him forewarning on the big week, and see how it goes. Then he can plan his exercise around that!

I posted back in April but have just been lurking since. TTC #2 our DD1 is 18months next week and I am still demand breastfeeding. We haven't used any contraception since her birth but only tracking since March.

We managed to BD 3 times in the last 2 days (not really just for conceiving purpose haha) and I had cramps, back pain and a big pop of pain on the right side behind my hip. I have never had any ovulation symptoms in my life so wasn't sure what was happening. I then got my darkest positive OPK ever. Feeling really positive about it but trying not to get my hopes up too much.

Due to test on the 3rd June but will probably cave and test earlier. Will try not to symptom spot as I had no symptoms til after 6 weeks with DD1.

My hubby is more clucky than me so he's been incredibly happy to BD every 2 days 😂

Hi everyone moving over from May thread as period is due on June 3 or 4. First month ttc so not sure how long my cycle will be. Just got a positive today on opk so I guess I am now starting the 2 weeks wait. Dh and I have been bding every 2-3 days. I also had back pain on the right side and hip so not sure if that was o or I'm just over thinking things already haha.
