My son found a young possum in a drainage pipe at a park. We couldn't see any injuries but knew a young possum at ground level, without its parents and during daylight hours, is in danger.
We emailed Wildlife Victoria, they rang me back straight away to clarify the location, and rang me again later to let me know they had rescued the possum. Sadly the little poss was injured and they had to put him to sleep.
I'm really impressed with Wildlife Victoria. They were so quick to respond and easy to deal with. Thank you Wildlife Vic!

Well done to your son for helping the possum.
I was very impressed with their response when we had a injured koala on our property, I was not so impressed with the 3 follow up calls asking for donations as we obviously care for wildlife.

I'd love to donate, but we are povo and once a year to the Salvos is all we can manage for charity :-( . I hope they don't call to ask.
