I know this has been done to death but I had a funny ambrosia moment this Christmas.
I'd never heard of it before reading about it on here, horrid combinations of ingredients that sounded absolutely disgusting. I always thought how lucky I was no one I knew made it.
Well, this Christmas with DP's family I asked what something was on the dessert table. When someone said ambrosia i had to stop myself from bursting with laughter.
It was made with yogurt, marshmallows and berries and wasn't bad really. It made me laugh to myself and thought I have to share with EB.

Lucky they served it as a dessert and not a main.

I've had it as a dessert and quite liked it.

I've only ever had it as a dessert, but that was way back in the late 1970s.

I have no idea what you are talking about.  Clearly I've missed a thread!

I had a sort-of Ambrosia at a family Christmas bbq - but it was called 'Christmas Hash'.  It had marshmallows, tinned fruit, yoghurt and cream in it.  Different but yummy all the same
