For October the theme is weather.

That can be whatever weather means to you and is open to interpretation. I thought of weather as Melbourne had a little bit of hail today and it rained on my way home from work today (gotta love walking in wet jeans!), and it's been in the news quite a bit lately. I was going to make the theme wet but was worried about the innuendo potential, so no pictures of Joe Manganiello allowed.

The photo can be specifically taken for the challenge or can be an old /previously taken photo.

The closing date for entries will be 31 October; however this time can be extended or changed if need be.

EB rules - 500px wide x 470 px high and 100kb maximum or you can post a link to your flickr photo.

Previous recent winners:

Winter - Katpaws
Relax - Nut
Treescape - Peanut

BEST OF LUCK!

I wish  had a proper camera. Over Melbourne yesterday there was a double rainbow, perfectly formed.

My very bad picture.

Haven't posted in literally years and life has certainly changed a bit but I thought I'd throw this photo I took the other day in here as it fits in with the weather theme. We've had all sorts of crazy hot then cold weather here in Adealide but it has made for some stunning colours in the sky at sunset.

Not really an entry for October as it's now November but I felt the urge to get back into submitting photos. I can barely even remember how to do this - or my log in details for flickr - so hold your breath that this works!

Hi to anyone who is still here from back in the day when I was a regular challenge participant.

Sorry i have been away.

I think since Kee was the only entrant, Kee WINS this challenge. It is a beautiful picture though..

I guess we need another discussion about the viability of the photo challenges???

I think you need to promote them in the general section.  This just happened to pop up in recent topics but i had otherwise forgotten the photography section exists.
That is a stunning photo, Kee.

Oh wow ... ok ... cool. I'll come up with a theme and post something.

Hopefully there's some entries this week!

Do you think we should move the challenge to Misc??? Or perhaps try a competition where posters can vote for their favourite picture and could go under WDYT? That might help promote the challenge...

I didn't even know this section existed. Otherwise I'd probably join in though I'm only an amateur
