And so it seems we're in the market for a double pram.

Really helpful woman at Baby Kingdom said her feedback is the BJ side by side is too wide, the Donkey isn't great for taller kids, and the BJ double is v difficult to push.

So that leaves us with the MB Duet or the P&T Navigator - any thoughts/suggestions?

There will be 21 months gap when baby no 2 arrives, and DS1 is tall/big for his age.

I have both a duet and a phil&teds sport. Much prefer the duet for seating configuration and it's easier to push.

I have had both tandem & side by side & preferred the 3 wheeler side by side as it was easier to manouvre & turn.

I decided on a Baby jogger city mini GT double, do a side by side. My DD will be 28 months and is very tall for her age and I found that she was too tall for the duet when I tried her in it at 23 months. I found it do much easier to push then the tandem style prams.
Having said that I haven't actually used it in real life, only pushed it around the shop with my DD and a 9kg weight.

I have a Baby Jogger city mini double and it is wonderful to push.  Only criticism is the basket is not great. It's less bulky than a double MB and easier to get into the car.

I previously had a p & t sports which I hated.

I have a P&T Sport that I love. But I've never had a side by side double to compare.

It works well as a tandem double or as a single.
The main seat is tall.
Narrow, but long.
Great for walking over any surface.
Easy to push with 30+ kg of 4yo and 2yo.

The second seat is short. This might be an issue when it's on top. My DD1 was 2.5yo and tall but she was ok in the second seat on top.
It's awkward to slide the baby in and out when the second seat is on top.

DD2 has never complained about the "view" from the second seat now that it's on the bottom. But she does give DD1 a good kick sometimes.

There's also the options of a single pram plus baby carrier or single pram plus toddler board.

I have a p & t and my 3.5 year loves it. She still loves going on walks with me and it fits great in my small boot so we can go into the beach and have a long walk with a different view.

I put the second seat for my 4yo nephew when he sleeps over, so with 32 kg of kids it's still so easy to push.

The duet is the size of a single with the advantage of a double
