Threads you've replied to have a star.

And like OneProudMum said, it's hard to see where one post ends and the next begins (on my phone, anyway, not sure about how it looks on computer/tablet).

I think only you can see your name if you are invisible. Can you see my name on the bottom of the thread ?

The pm system is going to take a little longer to get up and running. We do apologise. We decided to go live and wait for that for approx another 24 hours.

Well, I guess I'll just have to live with that *sniff*

Also, where are the emoticons? I will freely admit to being so sad that I remember the text for most of them, but I'd still like them back..... Also the tassie devil avatar that I only changed yesterday, dammit ;)

And why, when I open up whatever the view new posts thingy is now, I get a whole bunch of options at the top? Is there anyway of getting rid of that?

Finally, yes, I am being an annoying cow. Feel free to place me on ignore :)

ETA no Therese, I can't see your name!

I've noticed a couple of things in addition to the page settings issue raised above (I really hope that one can be fixed).

Firstly, I clicked on the "Use Mobile Version" on my phone just to see what it's like and now can't get back, even when clicking on "Full Version". I was going to try logging out and back in again to see if that would fix it, but can't see where to do that.

Also, there doesn't seem to be any way to get into PMs, Notifications or Settings on the mobile version. There's an icon in the top right-hand corner that looks like it might be it, but nothing happens when I click on it. If I can get back to the full version, I'll stick with that as I don't like the mobile version much (just my preference) at this stage.

The mobile forum skin is not working, so please bear with us as we try to fix it (it's not supposed to look like that).

You confused me bob! You too whinged about no emoticons, yet you used emoticons....* insert "I don't know what's going on" emoticon ....

#35 Therese

Emoticons :

If you use the add reply to this topic button in the top right of the thread you should then get a screen loading that has different options for fonts, bold, emoticons etc.

Chedasha I can't see you when logged in as a regular member so I think only you (and mods/admin) can see your name at the bottom.

Thanks Bob :) You can see your own name even when you are hidden but you can't see anyone else's name.

I posted the same about mobile. Think it is a glitch. Best way is to go delete your cookies then you can log back in normal site.

Pms are still being worked on.

Agree, screen is very narrow too and I am only on my laptop not a very big monitor

My alignment is all off (main content appearing way over to the right of my screen so I have to scroll to read it. I'm using the latest version of Firefox. Can post a screenshot if you want.

(I just checked in IE and it's working fine there)

For those looking to follow subscribed forums/topics it might be worth looking in the My New  Content area as that has a number of options for how you read the forums.
But I am still trying to track this one down properly  :)

Yes I agree it can be a bit confusing to see whose post belongs o who.

Thanks for all your hard work admins and mods.

Yes, where is the "quick menu" that was always at the bottom of each thread, to enable east forum jumping?

Needs more definition between each post.

I can't insert any space between quotes so that I can respond to each one individually. It definitely needs more distinction between posts. They seem to just blur into each other instead of being separate and distinct. I've now discovered that I can't even create new paragraphs in this reply and now just have one long response. I hate it when people don't use paragraphs, and now it looks like all of EB is now doomed to this. The font is way too small, and the thread column is way too narrow, and the ads on the right are too wide. Not happy, Jan.

I get the feeling this may be user-error (sorry, you have enough to deal with without my ignorance!) ... but if you are in a post and want to jump to a new section (e.g. from Miscellaneous to Venting), I used to navigate by the drop-down menu at the bottom. How do I do it now?

For subscribed threads, look under 'notifications' in the left hand menu on every page <---------

Yep, as above, for most stuff. Want the 40 posts per page back please. :) And the 'go to' option at the bottom of the page and yes, it is hard to tell the begining and end of peoples posts.
