I'm going to tentatively add myself to the list original.gif

I'm due on Dec 14th-19th with my 2nd. I'm 38 so stressing a bit about complications etc etc. and although I've had strong positives and symptoms it doesn't seem quite real yet !

I already have a boy and would be happy with either gender for this baby.

I have booked myself in with an OB for a scan around the ten week mark but haven't seen a gp yet.

Good morning ladies

Heading to an 'emergency' ultrasound at 2pm.  Last night my belly became big and hard and I felt squeezing cramps and pressure to bear down (sorry, tmi, like needing to go to the toilet but pressure not in the bowel, in the lower abdomen).  Doc this morning said my belly looks like I am 5 months pregnant but he said he has seen it before in a pregnancy following a very large baby (my son was extremely big and late) or a twin pregnancy.  He is not so worried by how much I am showing, but sending me for US to check up on the cramping and squeezing feeling.  No blood so he said that is the point at which I should start to become concerned.

I am finding (for a normally practical, logical person) that my anxiety is through the roof and not as easy to control as I would normally find.  Anyone have any experiences or thoughts to offer?
