Using my username as inpiration,

Love that shot Mummy26!

And I love your photobomber Peanut, too cute!

This probably won't be my entry but it's a little something I took today while playing in the pool with my nephew and thought there was plenty of blue in it. I have other ideas for what I want to enter but this will make an ok back-up if this weekend goes down the drain and I don't get to take another photo.

Thanks Silverwattle, like all cats he's a rather nonchalant photobomber!

Well, the wet is neverending up here in QLD, at least, it feels like it!  For a family like mine that loves the outdoors and going on daytrips, it has caused a bad case of cabin fever.  So yesterday we decided to go out even though the rain got pretty heavy.  I wasn't expecting to get a photo for the challenge until I noticed my DS had dropped his umbrella and it was...blue, hooray!  original.gif

We've been flooded in again so I've been messing around with lighting (literally..lol)

This is my book light. It's less than 10cm tall and I constantly have to search for it because my boys love it too.

rbat: That is stunning!

Here's my entry, just a shot of a bridge in SA that has blue lights on it of a night time. They change to red, purple and green as well so I had to sit by the water waiting for it to change until I had blue.

I was very fortunate to escape the dreary weather here in Brisbane for the weekend and went to Adelaide for a mini break girls weekend.  The weather was amazing and I can't wait to take the family there for a holiday.

Mummy26 - love the whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme! The musical notes and the cat in the background add those extra layers to enhance the theme.  The 2 different colour blues on the foreground characters really stand out

Kee-in-hawaii - great use of blue!  Wonderful reflection from the ripples in the water.  The stripes of light in the water add an extra layer

Silverwattle - I love the misty water and what an amazing 'feel' this photo has!great composition and use of blue with the water but also the feeling this gives me

Peanut - I love the composition of this shot and how your eye is drawn directly to the  blue umbrella even though it is a small part of the photo!  The rain and reflection also add another depth and feel to it

Raven74 - Great fun shot!  it has a nice summery feel with the clear blue sky taking up most of the photo.  I like the added dimension of seeing all the buildings low down in the background

Nut - Great action photo!  Love the tree and bat sillhouetted against the blue sky

rbat - Wow stunning!  Such a great colourful shot with the silky calm water and deep blue sky.  Great sillouette of the pier

Bryden - Great use of the colour blue with the plain background!  The lamp stands out and looks cute!  Kind of reminds me of the one in the begining of Pixar movies

katpaws - lovely fun shot!  Good use of the colour blue noth in thebaloon as well as in the rainbow face paint on the little girls face

winkwink - great photo!  I love the line of sight created by the pier and its pylons seemingly going on forever!  Lovely tones of blue from the water and sky

TopsyTurvy - Great idea!  Love the pale blue of the flowers flowing together with the pale greys of the worn timber and the metal

Great photos from everyone this week! original.gif

Special mention goes to silverwattle, peanut and winkwink but this week the photo I can't go past belongs to........

rbat!!! biggrin.gif

Congratulations it is a beautiful photo! cclap.gif
