i hope that i have posted this in the right section- pls move if i have not got it in the right place.

dh and i have just installed a biocycle(enables you to use both your toliet and washing/bath water on your trees/grass). the dishwashing tablets that i used to use i am unable to now as they are not septic and grey water safe.  the techician advised to make sure we use the correct tablets otherwise the ph levels will increase(system working overtime becuase of incorrect products) and then we will get an odour from our system as well as damage the motor etc.

because i order all of my groceries online i am unable to check the boxes of the tablets in the supermarkets(and honestly cant go in as i have 6 kids under 7). could someone please recomend to me what tablets you use that are both septic and grey water safe.  the dishwasher runs twice a day

thank you

All systems are different so you'll have to check.

We have a 4 chamber biolytic septic and I use Finish or Morning Fresh tablets. It was one of my criteria when choosing a septic system because I wasn't changing my dishwasher or laundry detergent.

Our ecostore powder says its ok for septics but doesnt mention grey water.  I have just ordered some enjo/method tablets, they might be worth googling.  original.gif

thank you very much i will goggle those tablets. it is very confusing because not all products list if they are safe and then some only list that it is safe for one or the other.
